It was almost meant to be that she fell on the first two jumps...it brought out the real tragety of the music and the charachter for the rest of the program. Certainly one of (if no thee best)performance at the olympics.
Nino Rota wrote the piece of music that she skated to. The part where the music really swells, and the drums go up, sounds like Roger Williams version of Nino Rota's composition. Henry Mancini also is credited with making Nino Rota's music famous in the US. If that makes sense. I don't know that I'm explaining it right. At any right, Roger Williams plays a really awesome version of this song that people who enjoyed Sahsa's music here would really enjoy.
Lotte, this is awesome!!!!!!!!!! I love this music to death! Can you send me the fluff there Sasha told why she has chosen this music? (this is Asya from SF)

Do you know the composer for this version of Romeo & Juliet? I'd love to download it, if possible.

It's from Andre Rieu, you can find it as Love Theme (romeo and Juliet).

Roger Williams preforms the version she skates to, and Henry Mancini plays the most famous instramental version.

It is actually Nino Rota's version that Sasha skates to.
