  • i'd rather buy a venza.

  • Not bad looking at all, what you guys on about. I still drive a 1996 and it's still going better than the new ones, lol.

  • the steering is sucks

  • Mazda Cx 5

  • SO UGLY!

  • I don't like it as much as last year's model. Why couldn't they at least add some fenders or black designed fenders? It would look better. How about the front end?.. it needs a chrome put into it. Chrome always makes it look nice. As much as I love Toyota, I love SUV toyota but I have a 2012 Tacoma that I love the most. This car is fine looking. Not the best looking though.

  • The european version is better!

  • looks ugly

  • Electric Motors tend to have more torque, and leave gas engines by the way side... although in these early days of transition from gas to electric... the car industry tend to utilize the smallest electric motors to weight ratio of car...robust electrical motors would outpace the fastest (Formula 1 racer)...... since fuel cars are only 20% efficient while electric motors are 90% efficient in comparison.

  • this is dumb, i just bought a 2011 rav4 limited v6 in pyrite mica, and i love it. The styling hasn't changed much over the years but i like the the styling on mine. simple and discreet, and i like the longer grill on the limited models. The v6 engine is phenomenal, couldn't believe the acceleration it has. Interior wise, nothing special, back up camera, leather, heated seats, hands-free, JBL sound, prettyyy standard stuff for the high end model cars. Anyway this new one looks ugly.

  • @patrickrob

You simply hate the 2012 because you're bitter of the 2011's inferior

  • @patrickrob

its not ugly n most people buy toyota not because of beauty, only for dependability. And speaking of which you took your five minutes of glory to satisfy your urge to share with the world that YOU bought (if in fact you did) fully loaded version -- you know this is a means of transportation --- NOT a CONDO - although you might be one of the people who live in their cars and spend entire weekend washing, wiping, and watching it --- nuff said

    I got life to live

  • @palgumaka Haha yea i just love going around bragging about how awesome my toyota's are haha. I'd be bragging about my 67' Harvester Scout with a 5 inch lift, if anything(like how i threw that in there?) Seriously though, I own both the 2011 rav4 limited v6, and i also own a 2011 Tacoma trd t-rex. I love toyota's , very dependable, great warranty's, and they have Toyota Care, which is really nice. Not to mention my T-rex can climb over anything, and my rav does 0-60 in under 6 seconds.

  • Awful, this car looks the fucking same, not a redesign nor a refresh. The same old Rav4 just an electric battery dats it. And they said they might drop the V6. Thas even wrost

Drop the best engine and put a electric box? Really Toyota?

  • At only 100 miles per charge, I can't see me owning one here in Idaho. Too much distance between geographies. Tesla motor company manufactures the drive train for Toyota, while keeping their proprietary 600 miles per charge drive train for themselves. Still, it's a very nicely appointed vehicle, with great features. Just too small of a range for most of us in the west.

  • its so cool is it real?

  • Love the idea; but with gear buttons on console, drivers with pets had better watch out! I'm serious about getting a Rav4; maybe better to wait and see if those buttons move?

  • i prefer 2011's model.

  • I would buy this car if tailgate is not the same design of 2011 model. It can be an very inconvenience of loading and unloading grocery and curb side loading if you are parked on the street because hinges is on left side of curb side loading in the us. Sorry RAV4!

  • RAV 4 fucked up

  • @saifalbraik Wow, thanks for your intellectual response! What, are you in 2nd grade?

  • See the trees smile as you waft quietly by. Watch as the children cross the road into your path because they haven't heard you coming.

  • Leave it once again to the Japanese to come up with this great ride that doesn't depend on OPEC for gas, just remember one thing, the more we wane ourself's from gas the more these idiots at OPEC will charge us for it, there not going to watch there profits get smaller.

Now the idea is to put solar sells on the roof of our houses and take ourself's off the energy grid completely..... "Here Comes The Sun".

Thank You Toyota for making an electric car thats more than a gloried gulf cart.

  • Well now, where do I sign up for one? My 2005 Prius is long in the tooth and I would love somemore interior space. The 100 mile range is just right for my daily driving needs. I've wanted to upgrage to the Highlander hybrid, but the gas milage was not very attractive. Now my wishes and desire of something larger than a Prius with the smae or better gas milage has been answered. Yes I know I use the term gas mileage, but I will still have to fuel it with electricity.
