If you are using the pirates, then maybe 09 is fine for you. However, there will be new real time presentation in MLB 10 (option to play without cutscenes as everything happens as a baseball braodcast would) , and for me it means my Twins can play in brand new Target Field.

is there a worse franchise than the Pirates is all of sports. I mean the penguins and steelers r winning titles and wat do they Pirates show for it? Not only that, why did the city even bother giving them a new stadium while the Pens had to threaten to leave and came pretty close it but they go on to draft a stud in Crosby, finally get a new arena in the future and be one of the most exciting things going on in Pittsburg, while the Pirates r a continuous joke.

i will admit im very East Coast bias, so i only care bout the Red Sox, Yankees. Im a huge Red Sox fan so watching from afar, i dont see anything positive happening in Pittsburgh. I mean the team is headed for 17 straight losing seasons and they still somehow got a new stadium yrs ago. I dont get it but hopefully for Pirates fans things turn around but how often have Pirates fans been saying that?

they got a new stadium cuz thats the only way we will go to the games. for the ads to sell tickets they dont say anything about baseball, they talk about sitting in the best ballpark in america and the 35$ all you can eat seats. and it works so they figure "Why bother putting a winning team on the field if were already attracting fans." im safelly tucked away in my Red Sox bandwagon. All the heartbreak yrs and yrs from the Sox has paid off and dont worry i dont intend to root for the Pirates. Realistically the National League doesnt matter, the AL pwns every yr and besides the Cubs and maybe the Cards no other NL deserves national attention. Hopefully for u the Red Sox will visit Pittsburgh soon and show how a real team is built. At least u have the Steelers and Penguins

okay, i just want to point out that a NL team has the best record in the majors, and we do have the pens and steelers, wat do u have in boston, a team who missed the plaoffs, and two teams who lossed in the second round. Im not going to rag on the sox since i like them to, but trust me the bucs will turn heads in august, hopefully we have so familiar names.
