  • Metal was ALWAYS being influenced by Punk and Punk was ALWAYS influenced by Metal.

    Nuff said!!!

  • There is no point in arguing with people so see no punk in black metal. You have to question how they ever got into this wonderful music at all if they are so blind that they cannot see black/death/thrash/punk/doom/crust/grind/noise it all comes from the vein, its all just beautiful fucking noise.

  • @Tremuoso You tell 'em dude!

  • The comment beneath me is spot on. No punk = no black metal. The first black metal bands were actually just morbid sounding thrash bands. Thrash being directly influenced by hardcore. Plus, go listen to the original version of this song. It's VERY punky. Punk and Metal were made for each other, soulmates. (:

  • @billthegeek33 Black Metal was never influenced by punk.

  • @chaclapa Uh, yes... yes it was. Check out Carpathian Forest.

  • @chaclapa lol

  • @chaclapa Are you retarded? Of COURSE black metal was influenced by punk. Have you ever listened to Venom? There's so much punk influence it's unreal. Venom members even had a side-project called Warfare, that was a punk/thrash crossover band that had a very similar sound to first generation Venom/black metal.

  • @xmetaljessex And Hellhammer also had so much punk influenced riffs, a great example is Messiah, it has a simple structure and it has like 7 chords troughout the whole song, yet its so destructive and powerful

  • Fuck me! Ive never heard this cover before. when I saw it I thought: this is not going to do justice to Hellhammers original. I was wrong!

  • My mind was fuckin blown at 0:01.

  • dont fuck away...awesome cover...

    N.D. & Hellhammer excelent

  • aka Celtic Frost - Morbid Tales title track

    great cover

  • One billions times better than the original!!! YAY!!!

  • Love ND and I dig the performance, but whoever did the mastering/engineering on this one screwed up at 1:52; there is like a split second of missing audio. Sounds like a botched punch in or something. I was curious if maybe I just got a bad CD but it's on this version too. :-(

  • @ratman8ballshifters

yeah dude i don't hear it.

  • NOTHING COMPARES TO THE ORIGINAL.

  • Meh, something is missing. ND play it a bit too sterile, where all the bends and stuff Tom G. Warrior would put in the guitar playing?

  • Are You Morbid?!

  • this napalm death's version sound more punk,but i prefer Sepultura's version.

  • Wow this is actually way better than the original.

  • yummyyyyyyyyyy

  • Wow.

  • MESSIAH!

  • I agree with Maxpound, but this is tied with Sepultura's version

  • This version is second only to the original.

  • Long life to Napalm Death

  • napalm death & hellhammer= f****** awosome !!!!!
