Battleforge is one of the most special RTS games ever. It has one of the most epci/awesome soundtracks ever, although it consists of relatively few soundtracks. Battleforge is a masterpiece in every way but advertisement, and if it had been properly advertised for in the beginning, Starcraft II would NOT be the no. most popular RTS game at the time. BF is just a sign as to how well EA tends to make minor mistakes that ruin awesome concepts.

I'd recommend this game for any strategy-lover.

@Vlayde9 By god, Battleforge was by no way "mediocre", sadly it was not popular enough, so the developers couldn't support it well enough, the music was and is brilliant i agree.
