Yea they look like vikings but....theyre in the centre of Middle-Earth.....the northern parts wore and will be for ever Dunedaín territory.and for the southern parts its Gondor(ex-Dunedaín) well if i think better all men wore Dunedaín before the Third Age,so u can be a rohirim,gondorian,dale-man or even bree-lander still ur heart will be with The Dunedaín and the fallen city Fornost.....im a big fan of Tolkien,i really think he is one of the Fantasy father starting with The HobbitLotr,and Hurín

The wider tale in LOTR is based on Norse mythology though.
