@nis1994 Okay people seem to be missing the point here. This is a film *based on* Pride and Prejudice, like Bridget Jones's Diary (and similar to what clueless is for Emma). The Keira Knightley version of Pride and Prejudice, however, is a film adaptation. Big difference. This is just based on the novel, but it is not supposed to be a perfect representation of the novel (for one, it's modern).

I second that. It's pretty awful. Caroline looks like a living version of a Brooks Brothers add. Darcy looks like a snob that escaped from Hartfordshire with a jewfroe. Bingley looks kinda image obsessed and conceited. You can't understand like ANYTHIng that Jane's saying, and Lizzie looks a little more frumpy in this movie. Stick to the 18th century version. Much more romantic. Oh and Mr Wickam is like a perv.
