@CRAZY6256 Yes, as you see - I assembled miniature to the stage when painting will not be problem. Then I painted, after it assembled. Contacta, poly cement are very similar
Hey, i made a Warhammer tutorial about how i paint my warhammer fast and easily, please check it out to see how i improve the look of my warhammers ;)
I would like to know whar you use for washes. I would like to try to recreate your washes they seem very effective. Also was that Tamiya smoke you used for the eyes?
I never thought of air bruising when when doing warhammer. definitely makes for a more even looking tone, and a lot better for blending. thanks a lot!!
Hi, Man! Great looking spiderI have a question: what do you use to glue the parts once painted? I think it is easier painting them unglued, but I do not know what kind of glue could I use. I hate the modles falling in pieces during a tabletop battle.
Thanks for the tip.I have vallejo pigments but Im unsure how to use them. Scale modelers Ive seen you matte varnish or gloss if they want it to look shinny and wet. I guess Ill have to simply jump on it. BTW, what AB do you use? Is .25 too small?
Very good info. One suggestion, you could show a bit of how you prepare the models and tools...you focus 100% on the model :) Also, why dont you apply the washes by AB? I do my own washes with acrylic and matte medium and pretty well...never tried the glaze. Last question...isopropanol is the same as isopropyl alcohol? Because that is what I to strip models and what tamiya uses for its AB cleaber...I use pure windiwcleaner as dilutant for my vallejo paints. Thanks and keep it up
@T3mpano Applying washes with airbrush is less precise. Sometimes I do that - check out my movie about building the drop pod. Isopropanol is Isopropyl alcohol. Yes, I know it is aggresive agent, but I like when pigments, metallics react with main layer of paint. Just try :)
@mason130496 I thin paints with glaze medium and water. There is no universal ratio, because it depends of thickness of paint and color. You have to try to find it.
@Buypainted Thanks, waiting to see hoy do you paint yor greenskins so. ^^ (I don't remember if i ansered your comment before, so excuse me if i did it, and excuse my bad english too hehehe)
Your videos are some of the best on Youtube, hands-down. Please keep them coming!! Do you find that you have any problems with the pieces staying together when gluing them after they are painted instead of assembling the model first?
@Harbaugh87 Thank you for nice comment. Assembling painted parts requires some patience and care but I have no problems with painting the whole model instead of painting most exposed areas. Assembling painted parts is common (car industry, clock industry, toys industry, funiture industry). Even modellers assembly their models up to the moment that next step will cause problems with painting. This is wonderful idea of GW - assembly before painting.
Bardzo dobra robota! Amazing job man, looks amazing, sorry if the Polsku is incorrect, I live in America and learned it as a child, but I am not good at spelling and my grammar sucks
@clmosk The plan is painting this weekend 1 savage orcs box, 1 savage boyz box (me), my friend wurrzag and shaman on boar. I'm just ending work on the termies and dreadknight. More movies soon :D
@mason130496 chinese one. It has many names - in each store different - but it is copy of IWATA. If you want to buy airbrush - choose cheapest, full metal, double action.
As always very, very nice vid! Great addition to the community! Awesome work! Thank you very much for sharing! Waiting to see your Grey Knight vid soon!
Wow, what an amazing series of tutorials over such a short span of time...a big welcome to the community, buddy...your subtle blends with the airbrush are fantastic...I hope these vids create more commissions for your paint service...you obviously have a great talent to creat showcase quality minis...I really look forward to your next project and thanks again for the great vids you have posted thus far...You might post a link to your web site in the comments to make it easy to find....Jim.
Great job I don't even like orks or play Fantasy but I'm sure there is fluff that says gray knights ride giant spiders somewhere, to let me field a model like that.

So, is a "common Polish spider" optional or a must? :)
Great tutorials, thanks...

Do you apply your glue over the paint? Would it make a better bond by gluing plastic to plastic?
Timbucktoo32 6 months ago
@Timbucktoo32 Yes, I do. Poly cement (Humbrol) and Contacta professional (revel) melt throgh the paint.

@deone67 because it is easier. I don't understand why people complicate theid work assembling first, then painting.
