and how did those aliens come to be....lol does it keep going, civilizations seeding civilizations? how did the first intelligent life occur...kind of raises more questions than provides an answer. I'm surprised such a simple flaw in this thinking wasn't covered
@yourhydra1 You're absolutely correct in pointing this out. It's the same flaw Creationists are guilty of when they say complex things (the universe) have to have a creator, but that mysteriously their 'complex creator' didnt require that which they demand of the universe.....
As a philosophy student I studied Jean Paul Sartre and Martin Heidegger. Both of these great thinkers have re-interpreted the roots of our current Cartesian scientific paradigm. This paradigm of duality created a split between mind and matter and laid the ontological foundations for science. For the modern scientist "Reality" is what can be measured, or what is physical. As a result the modern scientific view has only partial explanatory value.
If he had researched genetic engineering more then he would have realized that this planet was not only "seeded" with life but used a bio-engineering project which continues today in 2011.
wow this is very interesting, i'd like to believe it lol, but there are alot of guesses and assumptions with this idea. and plus, how would the original life get started anyways?
@crazychimp321 That's just the thing though. Directed panspermia isn't a theory related to how life began, merely a theory about how life on Earth began. It's based around the idea that there is/was life elsewhere in the universe. It isn't any sort of creationist theory.
Personally, I not only think it's fascinating, but I find it more plausible than any other theory I've come across about the beginning of life on Earth. :)
pleidians made us and reptylians(so called bible gods) from sirius/oroin downgraded us to slave like creatures and the leftover orion annuaki still on earth are todays cia people/beasts ruling elite of the world
What I love about this video is not that I believe or disbelieve what is being suggested, but that it opens your mind to how much we really don't know about ourselves, our world and where we come from. It also makes you wonder how much of what we claim to know we actually DO know, vs. our speaking from a place of ignorance as if it was certainty. Interesting!
So Crick didnt think abiogenesis could have originated on Earth, but that it obviously did on the other side of the universe.....logic fail.

Crick had it "half" right.
If he had researched genetic engineering more then he would have realized that this planet was not only "seeded" with life but used a bio-engineering project which continues today in 2011.

@DINDRAGON
Assuming the universe is only 13-14 billion years old. It may turn out to be far older.

@VLutosk Aye. It's the observable universe that is 13.7 billion. People forget that little adjective....

LoL
When they mention "junk DNA" they show a picture of that stupid skunk Heidi Montague from those terrible MTV shows. So true.

WOW - glad I found this - clarifies much of what I have researched

this is funny, i think the organisms evolved only for one reason - to function as vehicles for DNA, LOL!

No no no , the 'consensus' is that we are monkey and the DNA is Junk, humans are nothing special...:(

Extraordinary, but aren't we into a new debate here, as in who created God?
Like how were the alleged aliens who allegedly sowed the seeds of life here conceived themselves?
By magic?
