yeah even though everyone has proof its Bas now I just watched it the first kick really has Rutten all over it not to mention he WAS much much smaller when he started as well as younger and not as skilled. If you watch his first pancreas fight he has much less bulk but is totally toned which would better suit muay thai Another thing is bulk comes easier later on in life when you can put on weight easily

hmmmm. he was smaller in his younger days, but not that small. and as for the liver punch, i read an interview in "Fight", and he did'nt learn about the liver punch right away, not until he was dropped by one, and obviously he learned well from that lesson. Don't think its him though.

If the video was a little longer I might believe it was Bas. But, from the videos I have seen of him fighting, and punching, and this video showing wild haymakers and not the straight right, I am less than sure it is him fighting. Where the fighter clinches and knees, before falling down, 'El Guapo' would do the liver shot.

Simply, if I saw the guy turn to the crowd and jump in the air doing the splits, I would say "It is definitely Bas". But as I can't see much detail I am not convinced.

Maybe they thought it was him, but I just couldn't see a resemblance, I'm assuming they said 'Bas Rutten' to get alot of views. He is extremely popular. I have been looking for the Randleman - Rutten match on Youtube and haven't found it, which dissapointed me. But not as much as this video has.

Bas is a Champion MMA fighter and in my mind the freatest fighter ever. This was Muay Thai. Even still he knocked the guy out in true Rutten style(Godspeed). Even though it was one of his first Muay Thai fights you can't look past his killer instinct!
