I found another great solution that you don't even need to have a PC connection. I have the same capture card, but I used the male to 2 female adapters and 1 av cable (not 2). Mine is a cheaper setup because I did not need to buy a female adapter. You have a much more complicated setup. People, don't over think this.

Good lord have mercy! I didn't realize how much wired mess you have to go through in order to capture the gaming footage for an LP. So let me get this straight, you need:

1 3 color coded a/v connection chord

3 Splitters with 2 female ends and 1 male end

1 Capture Card of some sort (Reckon I'll go with a Dazzler as it seems to be the most popular/most used device for recording).

I've got the other the other items so I just need 5 items totaling to about $120... >__> Eeesh!

@xPROxKETTERERx the dazzle comes with a disc that says studio 12, you install that into your computer, then when its installed, there will be an icon on your desktop called studio 12, open it up, then at the top, it will have three tabs (CAPTURE) (EDIT) (UPLOAD), once everything is setup, go to record, and you should see a little screen on the top right of whats happening in your ps3/xbox, then on the middle it will have a button that says capture, click it, and you start recording

@xPROxKETTERERx and when your done, go to (EDIT) tab, you will see your video on the kinda top, left and drag it down to the timeline, then just click the (UPLOAD) tab, and MAKE SURE that where it sais file type on the (UPLOAD) tab, it sais MPEG-2 then upload and you can use it on windows movie maker
