Nice car man. I'm gonna build a three wheel single seat car myself but I will make it a little smaller and with a scooter engine at the rear. =) Three wheelers with two front wheels and one rear wheel actually handles very well according to those who knows, if they are built correct. There could be problems with rear tire wear though - but again, it depends alot on the way it is built and what tire you use. =)

If you think you've got it bad in the states, the price of fuel in the UK is almost 3 times higher in some places! A gas station in Devon was charging £2 a litre for gas/diesel. That works out at $14.36 per US gallon or $17.25 per UK gallon!

Average is £1.36 a litre or $9.76 a US gallon.

We dream of fuel as cheap as yours in the USA!

That would be awesome anywhere but America. Americans are assholes if you have a small car. I drive a Scion Xa and I get no respect. People always cut you off and act like they don't see you. Too many SUV driving fat soccer moms.

That's going to be changing like real soon. The falling dollar combined with oil getting harder to find means the SUV days are numbered. I think we'll see it start to happen in the next 2 years. People will be combining gas money to make combined trips to the store in one SUV. I'll still be riding my electrically assisted bike the. It'll be nice to have a little more room on the road.

it's changing very quickly. as of Apr 21 2008 with diesel over $4 a gallon we see used Hummer H2 suv's for sale in the $22K area. an amazing price for sure, but they must be tired of feeding it...

It seems to be happening a whole lot faster than I planned for. I thought I had a full year before things got difficult but now it looks like things will really start getting bad by fall of this year.

All the indications point to a truly nasty hyper inflationary depression starting around September of this year, with prices going up around 300% at first. Then this winter things will get really bad. The people who still have money will be buying your cars big time.
