Here, me and my friend plays starcraft, hes terran im zerg. But i simply cant beat him. He gets a defence full with siege tanks. I have never won and could really use some advise how to break through his siege tanks, how to prevent nukes, how to not get irradiated etc.
you could evolve the hydralisks to lurkers, and place them like siege tanks, then remove the seige tanks with either guardians or any land to air...the one problem versus terran is it has both power air and land units, where as zerg is speed damage...although a group of mutalisks with the bounce ability are very effective against ground groups
I've noticed none of your Z opponents ever get lurker tech, at all. Do you struggle vs lurker? I know you're not claiming to be good but just curious.
if you continue with a metal build after cliffing, rather than a bio build, then it can work at times, it depends, if toss makes a shuttle or not (early game) and how long he works your wall and with what.
Adding a Wraith right after the cliff would definately pissed the z off. I was wondering why u didnt go for it after seeing him being pretty late on his muta tech...
only to demonstrate the BO, normally you can just about save your tanks with your drop-ship being chased by 3-6 Mutas, a wraith would be waisted resources, it's better to have M&M's , upgrads & Vessel tech.
Waisted resources? You knew the position of 4 of his ovis (at 4:43 and even 2 more at 4:48) - i assume, thats all of em. At that point, he didnt even finished his lair, so if you wouldve started to produce 1 wraith, you could've brought them down easily (costs: 500 mins for the z, only 150/100 for you). Additionally, you wouldve threw him back... and he would have been forced to get evo chamber + 1 spore (additionall 300 for the z).
what you obviously dont understand is, that this match "was played as if the Zerg did everything right" so I could demonstrate the outcome and BO. It was never about winning the match in this current game effectively ... does that go into your DEUTSCHES GEHIRN?

No, I lost that one, I was rehotkeying buildings as he attacked and I caught the shift lock button and lost all troops and just couldn't save the match... the guy was good and saw his chance and just walked through me!
hey thanks for the tvz strats ive been using the wraith opening and it seems to work most of the time. I also have a question, I also play in a 640x480 window, I have full version fraps but it doesnt seem to work. what do you use to record?
I used to play PGtour and I played ICC a bit season 2 (6 days) and only reached a solid C due to new maps & time. if you want to climb higher you have to dedicate yourself fully to BW or be a natural talent that knows all maps of by hart! Mass gaming alone wont do the job ^^
