  • same theme as wdau tv 22 in scranton, pa. i loved trying to time all the downbeats in it as a kid. news open isn't group w to my knowledge. kyw in philadelphia was either using telesound or direct connection and wbz in boston was using its standard pictures in globe. very different themes from this one.

  • @wmichael1 For some reason, I've always looked at "Tuesday C" as a Southern thing. That a station in Scranton used it blows me away!

  • Nice video of the old Arlington and Texas Stadiums...of course, their replacements now sit side-by-side in Arlington...

  • @tvpirate05 I went in the old Texas Stadium

  • wish they had the intro from the early '70's w/Neil Diamond's African Trilogy theme.

  • That yo-yo pro is super funky

  • The music at the beginning is a bed which TM Productions (also out of Dallas) syndicated to stations to promote PM Magazine. (I have no idea if this was in direct connection w/ Group W or not.)

  • Yo-Yo pro???

  • "the yo-yo-pro"....lol

  • George Reba is actually the sports director aka Dale's boss

  • Nice intro from News 8, and that short PM Magazine teaser was nice too. Do you have a News 8 at 6 intro from 1978 or any daytime intros? Keep 'em coming, and good work.

  • George Riba? He's been there that long? Why hasn't he been made the chief sports anchor? And no disrespect towards Dale Hansen.

Speaking of George Riba, I saw him a few weeks ago at the Katy Trails run in downtown Dallas.

  • Yes, PLEASE disrespect Dale Hansen! LOL

  • "Tuesday C"

  • Same Tuesday Theme WPLG used around the same time.

  • As did WVUE in New orleans.
