@Mawwrc Skyward Sword is by far the best zelda game. I dont know what made it the worst one for you. You *SPOILER* obtain the FULL TRIFORCE. You forge the master sword. It had the best story. it was epic AND emotional. The artsyle was amazing and the gameplay was superb with some of the best dungeons in the series. The music is also some of the best in the series with epics like "Ballad of the Goddess" and "The Sky" and plenty more. I can go on and on LOL.
Ocarina was awesome, but Jesus Christ. This game is probably the most beautifully artistic game of all time, and the gameplay clearly surpasses Ocarina. I mean, YES it was great, but you wouldn't call Goldeneye the best shooter of all time NOW, especially when games like Halo are just so much more easier to play. I'm glad OoT got a remake to improve the controls, but Twilight just seems like the better game to me.
But I dunno, in 10 years I might be saying the same about TP.
the only reason why the GC version scores higher than the wii on reviews, is cause the game takes full advantage of the graphic capacity on GC, while on wii there is some room for improvement..they could have made it with better graphics

Some of the things this reveiwer said don't make sense. Ex: Like not all of the dungeons are temples(only about half are temples) and the game is not 50-70 hrs long even with all the sidequests I beat the main quest of this game in 20hrs and only 30hrs doing all the extras(I know he said he make not be accurate with game time but that is just way off). Lastly I don't remember ever being able to warp? I may be wrong.

Very good game but it feels a bit dated (maybe because it's a gamecube port) It's also nowhere near as good as link to the past or ocarina. It follows the same patterns too closely at points. It does feel like the old forest, water, fire temples hav a bit of a been there done that feel. It may also be unfair to compare it to what is arguabley the best game of all time. 9/10 from me a must have but not an all time classic
There will be no game to have the impact that OOT did. I remember playing it as a kid..not being able to get past the kid link stages..and still thinking it was the greatest game i've ever played. Ive never actually played it as an adult..but I just bought a 64..and Im going to get it tonight.
I liked this game very much. It is by far the longest game I have ever played besides Onimusha Dawn of Dreams and RE 4. The graphics are ok, and the controls fit perfectly on the wii. But as that guy said, this game was meant for the GC and moved onto the wii. The next zelda game will be similar to this one, so don't expect something totally new. That's what the creator of this game said.

I absolutely love this game! I'm looking forward to a new zelda game actually created for the wii (graphics, sound, gameplay, etc). I was very impressed with the control system on the Wii. I also really enjoyed all the extra work put into the little details (like birds, butterflies, squirrels, frogs... did you know you can talk to the frogs in wolf form by the house you get the sword at?).

The game comes for both Gamecube and Wii. There is not a big difference in graphics aside from the world being MIRRORED. The world was mirrored for the wii because most people used the wii-mote in there right hand, so they made Link right handed for the Wii.

Nintendo does not beat all their consoles, for I think the PS1 and 2 can certainly hold their own against any Nintendo console even the SNES(my favorite console, but not the best however). The Wii will be the best if their Virtual Console gets those SNES RPGs n lowers the NES prices. Now I dont have to buy a stupid Gamecube(hate that thing but love the games)

Not necessarily, same can be said for me with a DS It's either I dont like the feel of the controllers or just how the system looks, it's not worth getting the system for me and I dont like the features. Plus if I dont find a game that's worth the system then I dont like the system. Halo for me is worth Xbox. FF7 was worth the PS1, OOT is worth N64, For me no game was worth the GC. Same w/ Dreamcast. I really didnt want those systems

Wow, this game looks very impressive, but I don't if it's better than OoT overall. As far as the text blurbs go, well, once you've heard someone talk and don't need to talk them again, if they had voices it would really get annoying hearing the sound cut off all the time.

No you can't use the classic controller and the differences between the 2 versions are: the wii TP is mirored from GC wii, so link can become right handed

VO should be included, but it's quite a big statement that even without VO, it still is the highest scored next gen title to date (other than VC, but that doesn't count)
well, the otherbosses in ocarina of time were at least a little more challenging even after I figured out how to fight them. In Twilight princess it didnt seem like I really needed to stock up on faeries. But I'm reeally not complaining....(much) i just wish the bosses were harder. It wasn't as satisfying after killing them.
I don't want there to be voice acting in Zelda, ever. Somehow, it just doesn't suit the Zelda series. Video game voice acting tends to be shitty anyway.

I hated I mean seriously HATED how easy each boss was. Tat was its only fault. it was waaaaay too easy to fight the bosses. Everything else was superfantasgreat!I really enjoyed the game until it came time to fight the bosses. The levels were satisfying and the graphics were stunning. Just....they need harder bosses.
I finished the game after christmas on gamecube in january, without walkthroughs. took me 22 days but I FINALLY finished the game. It's fricken awesome. No doubt about it. But My critic is WTF happened to HYRULE FIELD, Kokiri Forest and Temple of time? They are all sooooo different!

I would also like to seem some voice acting in the future. Every other game franchise seems to be moving to voice acting. And FOR THE LOVE OF GOD NINTENDO DO NOT MAKE THE BOSSES SO FUCKING EASY NEXT TIME! I understand that the game is rated E but the boss fights dont have to be that simple. Being a hardcore Zelda fan I like to enjoy a challenging boss fight. The fights in this game were more of a mundane nuisance than an amusement.
In my opinion, the ones in Ocarina of Time SUCKED, the ones in The Wind Waker and Twilight Princess were too easy (but fun), and the Majora's Mask ones were awesome. And yes, voice acting, please, Nintendo. I'd love to hear Zelda and Ganondorf. My only hope is that Nintendo of America would leave it in Japanese and not translate it into crappy Final Fantasy-like junk. Also, for the record, I hate IGN. Charging people just to read reviews on the INTERNET? WTF?
I'll agree with you about Majora's Mask bosses. They were great. Maybe even the best bosses in the Zelda franchise. Too bad there was only 4 temples in that game :(
It's rated T, actually. On another note, I prefer voiceless. I hope and also don't think Nintendo will give them voices, especially Link. Playing as Link is like playing as yourself, almost, and allows you to imagine what a response might be. With voices slapped on, I think it would ruin the experience.

Ya, but the GameCube Version is mirror of the Wii, so Desert Province is in the East where Death Mountain should be.

Tsh, way to suck Nintendo's cock. You didn't review jack, you just told us how much you liked it. I also noted you left out a bunch of things that were wrong with the game, and made quite a few false statements. Also, no, this game was fairly easy and OoT kicks its ass. It's eaisly the second or third best, in terms of fact comparasion.
And no. Nintendo will never add voices to a Zelda game, or many of it's other classic games. That'd just be Fag-tastic.

Nintendo does not beat all their consoles, for I think the PS1 and 2 can certainly hold their own against any Nintendo console even the SNES(my favorite console, but not the best however). The Wii will be the best if their Virtual Console gets those SNES RPGs n lowers the NES prices. Now I dont have to buy a stupid Gamecube(hate that thing but love the games)

Not necessarily, same can be said for me with a DS It's either I dont like the feel of the controllers or just how the system looks, it's not worth getting the system for me and I dont like the features. Plus if I dont find a game that's worth the system then I dont like the system. Halo for me is worth Xbox. FF7 was worth the PS1, OOT is worth N64, For me no game was worth the GC. Same w/ Dreamcast. I really didnt want those systems

so... anybody here besides me has both the GameCube and Wii version and noticed that the maps on the GameCube version look "mirrored" It confused me when I started playing the Wii version :/

the wii one is the 'mirror'. it's cause Link is a leftie and most ppl in real life aren't so the had to 'flip' it so the average person could swing the sword correctly. or something like that, i read it in the Nintendo magazine. ^^;

Im playing this game at the moment, and its a disappointment to me. While i hated the cell shading of Wind Waker, this title is too repetitve of themes from OOT and offers very litte thats new. Its not INNOVATIVE enough. My god, 1998 seems a long time ago now..

the reason theres no voices(besides midna)is because u can change ure name and ure horses and it doesnt no how to pronounce most names.....that or it couldnt do voice acting with the limited time......

Wow, this game looks very impressive, but I don't if it's better than OoT overall. As far as the text blurbs go, well, once you've heard someone talk and don't need to talk them again, if they had voices it would really get annoying hearing the sound cut off all the time.

the main flaws on this game is graphics aren't great because it is even played on the gamecube (Next Zelda game will probly have even better graphics) and voice acting. They need to add voice acting!

No you can't use the classic controller and the differences between the 2 versions are: the wii TP is mirored from GC wii, so link can become right handed

well, the otherbosses in ocarina of time were at least a little more challenging even after I figured out how to fight them. In Twilight princess it didnt seem like I really needed to stock up on faeries. But I'm reeally not complaining....(much) i just wish the bosses were harder. It wasn't as satisfying after killing them.

I hated I mean seriously HATED how easy each boss was. Tat was its only fault. it was waaaaay too easy to fight the bosses. Everything else was superfantasgreat!I really enjoyed the game until it came time to fight the bosses. The levels were satisfying and the graphics were stunning. Just....they need harder bosses.

I finished the game after christmas on gamecube in january, without walkthroughs. took me 22 days but I FINALLY finished the game. It's fricken awesome. No doubt about it. But My critic is WTF happened to HYRULE FIELD, Kokiri Forest and Temple of time? They are all sooooo different!

zelda is the best game ever!! but the twilight princess disappointed me... it was tooooo short... it didnt take me looong i think about 24 hrs.... (that's like 2 hours everyday) but i loved it.... but the only temple that's hard for me is the lakebed temple.. i always have the most troyble with the temples with water...-_- but the rest is sooooo easy... wow this comment is looooong

I would also like to seem some voice acting in the future. Every other game franchise seems to be moving to voice acting. And FOR THE LOVE OF GOD NINTENDO DO NOT MAKE THE BOSSES SO FUCKING EASY NEXT TIME! I understand that the game is rated E but the boss fights dont have to be that simple. Being a hardcore Zelda fan I like to enjoy a challenging boss fight. The fights in this game were more of a mundane nuisance than an amusement.

In my opinion, the ones in Ocarina of Time SUCKED, the ones in The Wind Waker and Twilight Princess were too easy (but fun), and the Majora's Mask ones were awesome. And yes, voice acting, please, Nintendo. I'd love to hear Zelda and Ganondorf. My only hope is that Nintendo of America would leave it in Japanese and not translate it into crappy Final Fantasy-like junk. Also, for the record, I hate IGN. Charging people just to read reviews on the INTERNET? WTF?

I'll agree with you about Majora's Mask bosses. They were great. Maybe even the best bosses in the Zelda franchise. Too bad there was only 4 temples in that game :(

It's rated T, actually. On another note, I prefer voiceless. I hope and also don't think Nintendo will give them voices, especially Link. Playing as Link is like playing as yourself, almost, and allows you to imagine what a response might be. With voices slapped on, I think it would ruin the experience.

it doesn't take 45 minutes to get from one side to the other. it takes like 2 minutes of less (on epona). just to let ya know lol. the game's still long though, i've already clocked it once and i'm clocking it again with me official game guild. :)

yeah, the game looks awesome, I'm going to get it as soon as possible. I've also heard somewhere that it takes 45 real-world minutes to get from one end of Hyrule to another, and that's on epona.

yeah, i think this game is truly the best game in the zelda franchise, but again, the only bad thing i dont like is that the bosses are way too easy. i remember in the orcarnia of time i would die at least twice in any boss. in twilight princess i have never died.
