It's actually a pretty recent arcade remake of FZII, it was made in 2008 for the FZ Complete Collection and quite honestly blows the original away.

Unfortunately, it had to be Japanese Only, the collection, seeing as the FIRST Fantasy Zone was released outside Japan, as part of the Sega Classics Collection.

Actually there is a PC demo circulating around the internet, that's how I was able to play it. Only problem is that it only lets you play the first two levels. Here's hoping for a VC release!

@12DARKSTAR34 He used to be Sega's mascot until the rising popularity of a certain Itallian plumber. The Alex Kidd games are your basic platformer. Kidd himself studys the Shellcore techneque which allows him to break rocks with his FISTS OF FURY! His fighting style is Jankenpon (rock-paper-sissors). You can just YouTube Alex Kidd for more info
