Yeah, I see your point Richard. Shame really. Could have been so good. The cinematography and sound, sets, costumes and make-up are all top-notch but it's all let-down by the plot. Maybe one day a GOOD director can resurrect it.
I think the actors, especially Adrien Brody, did a great job, and it's a really good story till Dren killed that cat. From then on it became weird, but still MUCH better than those other horror-thrillers without any plot!
