  • ,,,This is in northern China,,,couple million of Korean live there..

  • lol pepsi is a corporation, there is no market in north korea

  • Not fake, the title says `North Korean restaurant`, not `restaurant in North Korea`.

  • This is in China, the restaurant is made by north koreans. Kim jong il sent them around the world like china to commercialize north korea.

  • Surely the language being spoken will tell people something? North Korean has a distinctive accent. Any Korean speakers around?

  • blue t-shirt orginal Kim im Sen

  • They are in north China!!!

  • It seems fake because this is most likely located in China.

  • MA DE, LANG FEI WO DE SHI JIAN.

  • LMAO. Sure don't look Korean. What lies the dear fat retard leader tries to spread.

Even the dogs in the DPRK are too skinny to eat.

Het wait! Could be a trap. The fat porkey pig leader could have filmed this. No one is eating. There is food... but only on the plates.

This video could be just like the Nazi bastards did during WWII. They filmed prisoners with bountiful plates of food and then took it away.It would be just like that dipshit to do the same thing with his people.

  • that glasses guy looks like Kim Jong Il

  • north kora is a vacation place for rich Chinese

  • @elephantmaniac The resturant is just a facade for the benefit of vistiors. The parts of North Korea that tourist are allowed to see are kept clean and modern but the rest of the country is just a slum. Some of the modern buildings are actually empty. Built just for looks.

  • In North Korea, meal eats YOU!

  • holy sh!t, at 1:30 is that a pepsi can that requires a can opener key to open it??? so cool

I feel sorry for you who are not able to realize this

  • did anyone notice the adorable little girl!!!!!!!!!!

  • I love the music! Pochombo esemble music

  • This video is not from inside N. Korea but is one in a chain of N. Korean government restaurants. They are in many Asian cities. Of course they are not used to function as a way to share their culture but serve to bring hard currency to Kim Jung Il and as a way to launder money from their other " state endeavours" in those countries. And by that I mean; illegal arms sales, counterfeiting, and drug smuggling. If the girls do not return, their families are jailed or killed-3 generations

  • I didn't see 1 waiter. just music and someone cooking next to the tables.

  • This aint even in korea... its in korea town in los angeles

  • If this was really in North Korea, they'd be serving American smothered heart.

  • that restaurant serve only for foreigners n very high class in North Korea

  • Another Bull shit video.. They dont have cam corders in North Korea so they cant tape this shit,. Fucking JACKASS guy. Your soo stupid.. FAKE VIDEO!!!

  • @shajait02 You are an uneducated imbecile. North Korea has restaurants all over Asia and they send hostesses on three-year stints to work in them. Before you open your uneducated mouth, go back to school, travel the world, actually see things for yourself, and learn how to speak without being a potty-mouthed fool and embarrass your nation for speaking without researching first.

  • is this really NK?? they have pepsi??

  • @vitasoy1437 NK Chain Restaurant in Asia

  • @Mccarthur1

wow, dun even know they actually have companies.... state owned?

  • @eridaniblack NK Chain restaurant in Asia

  • That insolent child defies the Dear Leader Kim Jong-il by donning the image of Winnie The Imperialist Pooh!

  • This looks more like a South Korean resturant.

  • @MikeUSUK87 NK Chain Restaurany in Asia

  • wait a minute this is A GODDAMN SOUTH KOREAN RESTAURANT!!! with dancers

  • Comment removed

  • @crazymonkey4510 NK Chain restaurant there all over China and other asian countries

  • What was the names of the dishes at this restaurant?

    The empty Juche plate?

    The proletariat shrimp sauce

and the most popular dish: Kim Jong-il stew, made from mystical toe nail clippings of the beloved leader. It tastes awful and its the most expensive. If you complain about the taste you are shot. if you look at it, you are shot. If you eat it you are shot.

  • This is a Malaysian family I reckon. I mean North Korea don't get Premier League football! (Chelsea shirt).

  • Where do they have North Korean restaurants? Can this be in Yanbian in China? There is a large ethnic korean population in china. can this be in china? Pepsi is awesome. Michael Jackson was sponsored by Pepsi for 10 years.

  • what's that song name?

  • North Koreans have restaurants all over Asia. Not sure if this is true but I hear that some of the profits they make go back to the country.

  • @jaranarm True, I saw a story about one of the dancers in a similar situation defecting to the South. Someone find a source.

  • fake. this isn'tin north korea! if it is in north korea there should be pictures of their great leader kim jong il.. and what the fuck pepsi is doing in north korea? think about it dude!!!!! north korea is applying the juche principle.....

  • @junavenice it is probably a korean restaurant set up by north korean refugees.

    why there's a Pepsi!?

  • what was the food like? did it taste like south korean rice and soviet era rations? haha jks what was the food actually like? can't imagine it would be much when they can't feed their own people.

  • I've heard that song in some other videos. Any idea what it is?

  • Is this restaurant in Shanghai, right?

  • @canellosutton Yeah? When was your last visit to North Korea?

  • It's a North Korean Restaurant in China. Look at the Pepsi (百事可乐)

  • What are the lyrics of the song...."The Great Leader President Kim Il Suck tought us how to cook? " LOL

  • A true north korean restaurant would not exist becuase there is no food to have any ways

  • @HumanStrategy

Might be a NK restaurant in SK. /shrug

  • @austingmail

never... :/ SK won't allow it

  • @canellosutton

  • @ironchic713 its already empty . 0:38 - 0:44 empty dish in front of guy with glass

  • Haha, a North Korean restaurant in China.....that experiences more business then the all the restaurants in in North Korea. How sad. How stupid is it for North Korea, to hate the United States, but in their restaurant in China, are found serving Pepsi?

    Stupid.

  • its a fucking restaurant in china, you cunt...what dont you understand?

  • @bmwcrazy yay i am taiwanese XDD

seriously, i pity those North Korea Citizens,

no freedom, no justice, living under fear

  • seriously, do you believe you would find a TV that big in NK?

  • I don't think this is in North Korea because you're not allowed to bring a camera or a cell phone or even an mp3 player.

And yes, Americans can go to NK for a trip but they only let in like ten per year. They have tours for Westerners, but usually they're from Germany or Australia or the UK, there aren't usually many Americans visiting.

  • @maychen they are north korea restaurant at china near the border u heard that b4 !!!!

  • @maychen Oh no you aren't allowed to bring a camera? So how do people then get videos of NK on youtube?

  • notice how the video tapes coming out of NK are either 1. blurry (thus candid), or 2. reek of staged scenes for foreign visitors?

  • this is a NK restaurant in China.

  • No lie, north Korean girls are prettier ten south Korean girls

  • yeah the whole famine thing keeps em nice and skinny

  • lol thats not in nk.

  • I saw this in a documentary once. It's in China. The girls are sent over from North Korea - it's one big exercise in propaganda.

  • place seem to reek of communism... i kid of course

  • 去你妈的 别用我们中国文字说逼话

  • I didn't even know americans can go to dprk

  • That place reminds me of Orange County, CA

  • Funny...US citizens can go to DPRK but not Cuba...doesn't make sense!

  • USA Trip 2009 - 31) Korean food - Sam gyop sal and Korean pancakes in Korean town

  • Belo restaurante , as pessoas comendo sopa de grilo com barata povo alienado ... Carne só em fotografia

  • more than likely this is in daedong, rich pyongyang school girls aer usually allowed to come over and dance and make money for a bit. if i was one of them id be hightailing it out the first chance i get

  • Why the hell is every PA system in the whole of North Krazyland always way too echoey and distorted?

  • They had pepsi in Soviet Union, but not coca cola

  • Is this North Korea or China? I have been to some North Korean restaurants in Beijing and I think this might be one of them.

  • That's some entertainment right and those girls are beautiful

  • you know what i mean...

  • north

  • holy shit! there's restaurants in north korea?? =O

  • be a little more specific- North or South Korea? By the way, this northern Korean restaurant is probably in China- it doesn't appear to be the real North Korea

  • 100% sure you didn go north korea before. don say anything if you don know anything. zzz

  • Quiet- who asked you? What is your problem?

  • You are unbelievably stupid- you could have saved everyone the trouble & just stated that. What's wrong with you? Don't people think anymore?

  • Hey Kraut, why don't you crawl back into the ovens you created for your "inferior" beings?

  • It's not called being fucked up. Whenever you incite racial hatred & encourage violence against ethnic minorities, that's when the police gets involved. You are the product of an illicit affair between your beloved Fuhrer & your filthy whore of a mom.

  • I guess you're itching to be reported to the police for harassment and inciting racial hatred. BTW what does a person's mom have to do with this? And learn to wear the label racist proudly because you're no different from the Nazis.

  • 227: stupid pathetic little racist

  • Comment removed

  • Such an ignorant comment. If you want to talk about human rights ther be serious about it. Don't make light of human deaths.

  • Idiots this is not north korea the guy front of the camera wearing a t-shirt with samsung sign

  • maybe the samsung guy came from south korea :l or something

  • you guys from singapore ?

  • OMG, that song is EXACTLY THE SAME as the song in a DPRK propaganda video I saw! Its one of the nationalist/patriotic songs. Its not like you're allowed to sing anything else!

  • Comment removed

  • Nah, not really.

The first song is 'Pangapsumnida'. It means 'Nice to meet you' and is frequently used on tourism campaigns. The second is 'Arirang', which is an old, very famous folk song thats sung in both North and South Korea.

I'm prepared to bet that this restaurant is in Northern China anyway.

  • Comment removed

  • Where is this restaurant?

  • my question is did those people came back from north korea????

  • I am wondering, the north korea restaurant staffs' all sill living in N.Korea so does the customers have to be removed their cellphone etc before they going in the restaurant.... Otherwise, the staffs will know the difference between north korea and other countries

  • I believe all tourists have their cell phones confiscated upon arrival in North Korea. They are returned to you when you leave.

  • Tourists do have their cell phones confiscated. There are some cell phones that make their way from Daodong China (where this restaurant is) to the DPRK, but if you are caught with one the punishment is death. That said... an Egyptian firm is building a large 3G cell network in Pyongyang, so at some point in the future it will go from instant death to allowed.

  • Wow, Scott- have you been to China & North Korea?

  • I haven't been to China or the DPRK. I've been to Hong Kong, Macau China and Taipei Taiwan if that counts for anything.

But I read a lot about DPRK because I'm curious and have read about the North Korean restaurants in Dandong.

Americans are allowed to visit North Korea and there are tours there. If you google Koryo tours they have 9 or 10 available for September and October 2009. You will see the Mass games, but you can't go or see anything on your own.

  • The reason I want to go to DPRK is because it is so incredibly different than anywhere else in the world.

For example, you go to Pondok Indah mall in Jakarta Indonesia and there is an outback steakhouse, a Toys R Us, Starbucks, Dunkin' Donuts, an ACE hardware store, Hugo Boss, Marks & Spencer, etc.

But imagne a place that goes dark every night, where the locals have no idea what a DVD, fax, copy machine, MP3 player or flat screen TV is and with very few billboards and commercial signs.
