Isn't it better to say it's the amount of casein protein found in dairy - 80% casein 20% whey - that is harmful, rather than, casein protein causes cancer? Casein protein is found in mammalian milk. Human breast milk is made up of casein protein as well, though the ratio is much lower, 60% whey 40% casein. Vitamin A is good for us in moderation, but too much & it becomes toxic. Personally I've dramatically decreased the amount of milk I consume, but I need to do a lot more research.
The Maasai people drink a lot of milk and eat 62% of their energy from fat. Are they looking like you did as a child? If your theory is proven wrong once, then it's wrong all the time. If the maasai people have less cancer on their native diet with a lot of natural milk than people drinking less milk, then the cause of cancer is not natural milk.
Sugar makes your cancer grow. A tumour feeds on glucose. There's a lot of sweet foods among those often low calorie vegan recepies I found on the net. And the're very often not so nutrient dense that some might think, so your hormons will tell your brain that you need to eat more (witch often means something too sweet).
Not having dairy products in your diet also causes calcium deficiencies! so what are you suppose to do? Get all soppy over a glass of milk? Fuck me. Take a look at what aspartames doing to the world :)
@101011b That sounds like an all round healthy balanced meal, You're also going sky high on sugar intake. one cup of milk contains 300mg of calcium a banna contains 6mg.
@georgefall5 After having been on low carb, I'd agree that it would be an insane amount of sugar to ingest. One thing that I didn't bother researching was the difference between fruit sugar and processed sugar, that was a small minor detail Atkins left out of his books. Then I have to ask do you "know" for sure how much calcium is needed for the body?
@101011b A high amount of sugar in a diet causes sleep deprevation, bad skin and allso fuels cancer, but im whats the point getting soppy over it like this woman, when you could just get on with life? No not for sure, i dont think the people that feed the figures do for sure either.
@georgefall5 What kind of sugar are you talking about? Not all carbs are the same as all protein as all fats. So far on 80% fructose I'm getting better nutrients and antioxidants than I would on low carb. Getting on with life is one thing but how it's done is another. Long term health care for myself and other animals is important. I'd rather die in my sleep than a heart attack or cancer or...
@101011b They all taste the same. Yeah true, Why bring death quicker. But you could get hit by a bus, caught up in a robbery no one knows. Going down to this finer detail seems silly, you could be out enjoying yourself? The screen you're looking at now is killing you, as would you're mobile phone or the radiation that everyday you expose yourself to.
@georgefall5 How the sugars react to your body is the important thing. Fate might have it's way with you one day, eventually. Some of us want to experience longer and with better quality as we have things to strive for; otherwise it wouldn't matter much at all. Research my friend and I hope you live long happy days ahead.
@101011b I will never ever understand the mindsets some people live in. Im gunna stick to a balanced diet and plenty of excersize. The rest of the time i can enjoy myself. You know, have some fun. Greed's the biggest killer in all of this.
@georgefall5 Wow, you must be right! Let me check my bloodworks... No wait, after being vegan for 8 years I still don't have calcium defifiencies, never had. That's strange, maybe it's that calcium-fortified soy or nut milk I've ben drinking, or all those dark leafy greens? There are plenty of calcium sources on a dairy-free diet.
@virrevojj Have you ever spent a thaught to how they get to you? or who grows them? And please tell me what the world would look like if everyone under the sun managed to have you're diet. Soy's almost as grusome work as some slaughterhouses. Take you're blinkers off and look outside the box.
@georgefall5 GMO and non-organic soy is bad, I don't disagree with that. Hence, it's important to chose good soy products. Still, most of that soy goes to the animals bred for meat, so even if you were to go for that non-organic or -gmo soy product, you'd still do less harm than going for the animal product.
@virrevojj If everyone under the sun had my diet? Well it would most certainly look way better than if everyone under the sun had an omnivore diet. Better for health reasons, better for the animals, and way better for the people.
Nevertheless, my response was towards your claim that lack of dairy equals lack of calcium, something I have proved not to be the case.
@virrevojj im getting at the point not everyone can have your diet. alot of the magical produce you replace your diet with is destroying someone or something elsewere in some cases worse than the problem you're trying to solve in the first place, Everybody makes it sound so simple. Dairy is a good source of calcium, dosnt mean every meat eater just eats steak and cheeseburgers.
@wasabi622 "when in nature, there are no animals that live on a vegan diet?" ·WTF? Are you aware that that there are animals that fall under the category of: Herbivore? (organisms that are anatomically and physiologically adapted to eat plant-based foods) and even when they feed on the mothers milk it's "natural" it doesn't has growing hormones and all the shit they put in animal factories... yours is the greatest piece of ignorant dumbest uninformed comment I read this week so far...
@DocStrange0123 Oh my confused friend, a vegan diet and a herbivore diet are 2 very different things. We can talk when you grow up and learn a little more about the world.
@wasabi622 Vegetarians eat vegetables, cereals etc+ biproducts of animals such as cheese, milk, eggs, youghourt etce (with exceptions, for example: not egs etce, it depends); vegans don't eat anything that comes from an animal so can you please give me one example of an adult herbivore living in the wild that eats youghourt or cheese for example or some animal bi-product on a regular basis? (good luck) Reminder: you brought animals in the first place comparing them with humans not me
4) i freely admit that i too suffer from logical fallacies (with this being one of them), but to point out yours: Existential fallacy, Overwhelming exception, Pathetic fallacy, Appeal to consequences, Appeal to emotion
5) when you start crying it just makes me want to anger-fuck you even more.
6) casein has not been proven to cause cancer and can actually be used as a drug nanocarrier (Cellular entry fashion of hollow milk protein spheres. Chengjie Liu et. al.. Soft Matter, 2011, 7, 11526-11534)
I found this idea about the casein very interesting so I googled it. The first PARAGRAPH states this: 'As a food source, casein supplies amino acids; carbohydrates; and two inorganic elements, calcium and phosphorus.' There is nothing more irritating than someone who decides to find a little 'spin' on something and exploits it and exaggerates it. People, if you really want to know the truth, make sure you double check some of the shite on YT before you believe it.
Thankyou for bring totally honest. I am vegan and my hole family are meat eaters and they try to shove meat and dairy in my face and call me crazy and that i dont get enough calcium. I have to show this video to them. Thank you
Diary is nasty. Stay away from it no matter what age. Get your calcium from plants like broccoli. If lazy, then get almond, rice, or soy drink. If really lazy, then get supplements.
and these problems that you have outlined can only happen to someone if he takes MILK AND ONLY MILK ALL HIS LIFE. However, other meats and vegetables balance the diet.
So don't be very caring towards us... we aren't kids !
A video on drugs, cigarettes and the weekend of Alcohol would have been much better !
you make a lot of sense. my sister drinks a lot of milk. she's drank it all her life, and she her bones break easily, her teeth are week and she takes very good care of them. all of my family has bone problems. i stop drinking milk at 5 and ive never had a cavity. ive never broken a bone. my bones are healthy. my mom jokes that it makes more sense for my sister to have the strong bones, since she drinks all the milk.
Just search it. Milk is completely unnecessary in the adult diet. Cows dont drink milk and yet they have very strong bones. Not saying only milk is responsible but when one looks at the stats the difference between asiatic countries with low dairy consumption and north america are pretty damn convincing. So dietary factors are involved.
Thank you, thank you! It's about time someone understand this issue! I have done SOOOOOOOOOO much research on this topic and everyone thinks I'm nuts lol I'm glad others are learning about the harmful effects of milk.
I wonder why people choose products enriched with Vit D and Vit D supplements? Even 4ounces of soy contain only 10% recomended dietary calcium. This in turn is again boosting those pharma companies that test their products on animals before placing it on our grocery counter-tops. I am still in the process of look out for a non-diary calcium source that contains half of calcium from diary products, in a small serving.
Sure, I like meat, cheese, etc., but a main reason why I do not want to be vegan is because of one fact: when you are vegan, the world is an evil, hellish land of suffering where all peoples are demonic canibals, everything is evil & must be changed. Simple.
I feel very healthy & not full of tumors after my cheeseburger. Also, I dont think all babies & cow calves have cancer. Milk is made to be drunk, so I dont think every baby in the world has cancer.
Bravo to you! You are correct on all counts-eating animals products are definitely killing us. Cancer, diabetes, heart disease, kidney stones, auto-immune diseases, etc, are
"the animals ultimate revenge, from their graves".
I wish I had this information when I was your age, I have paid the health price and have vowed to share all information, no matter how much it hurts - in the hopes of waking up the masses, just one, sip, one bite, at a time. Keep up the great work!
@DianeDi Everyone has the right to choose their lifestyle, but some facts she claims to put up are incorrect.caseine is found in Vegan products, as well as medicines and cosmetics. The key to healthy lifestyle is moderation and knowing what you eat. It's over eating which is killing us. obesity is the key factor and overindulgence. Vegans have to take vitamin D supplements which are a contributing factor to kidney stones.
@KassCraven Casein & Whey are a couple of dairy by-products "hidden" in vegan prepared foods. I guarantee you they are not in mine. Vitamin D is the sunshine vitamin / hormone, and this has nothing to do with being vegan, you are probably confused with B12. I've done extensive research over the last decade and there is no doubt in my mind that a plant based, whole foods diet is best for health and disease prevention. Dairy should be the first thing humans eliminate completely.
@DianeDi nope, I am not confusing it with B12, vitamin D is also found in dairy priducts, fish and oysters. M. Ghandi wanted a vegetable lifestyle and his health deteriorated and ended up drinking goats milk to get his health back up. you may be doing research but I work in the field of bones and food, so I am aware of the side effects of various foods. Vegan, meat eater, vegetarian, who cares, its a way of life. I don't like people preaching about incorrect facts. ;)
@KassCraven Vitamin D is added to dairy products because it is best absorbed with calcium - the very same calcium being depleted because dairy is acidic. The best source is sunshine, D3 supplements & even tanning beds in moderation - my own doctor recommends them. Do note that all seafood are filters of the sea and absorb many times their weight in toxins. Muscles absorb up to 400 times their weight... not good. Google "Ghandi's greatest regret" You have it all wrong.
Gandhi was pressed to take milk by doctors attending to him for pleurisy when he was briefly in England in 1914 but his refusal was absolute. The same thing happened in his most serious illness from disentery and fever in 1918. This time Kasturbai reminded him that his vow was against cow's milk; surely he was free to take goat's milk To his lasting regret Gandhi gave way and he drank goat's milk for the rest of his life. 'This has been', he said later, 'the tragedy of my life'.
@DianeDi@DianeDi thanks for the info on the sea creature stuff, I didn't know about the muscles, (although I prefer fresh water over sea). About the vitamin D I do agree that the sun is the best source. However I still firmly believe we need a varied diet to help our body function, we can also argue by looking at Nigella Lawson and Gillian McKeith, both same age, very different look. Gillians skin is screaming. :-/
I do have real eyes and I use them to look past my emotions and look at real facts. I'm studying biochemistry, people like this have no idea what they are talking about. You are taking a physiological response that happens when you eat anything acidic and applying it and saying that it only happens with milk. Clearly, your eyes are shut. I appreciate the love and compassion animal activists have (I want to be a veterinarian), but if you skew facts you lose every time. Period.
@DianeDi No..no..no. Inuits did not suffer from diabetes, cancer and heart disease on an diet based on 100% animals. In fact. All people who eat their natural food (we could do that) are healthy.
A lot of those diseases came with the sugar and some with strange produced fats. The health system has grown 5 times since the 50´s and now we're sicker than ever.
Blaming animal food for what the sugar industry done to our health is to go wrong. Stop drinking Coca-Cola instead.
I like milk, so fuck off. It tastes good and i already know that humans are not supposed to drink it. It seems like you are Bio Professor or something please let me see your PHD, Cause anyone can posts shit on the internet.
Casein is also found in soy products, and in body-building powder. It is also found in cosmetics, paint, and a lot of medicines. Basically it is unavoidable. Although there has been a case where a woman beat cancer by eating nothing but fruit and veg for 1 year. The sad truth is, there is a cure for cancer without the medical intervention. but pharmaceuticals will not release it as they will lose money.
Now, with the growing knowledge about health and nutrition, you would think that they would stop selling milk in schools and serving meat, fish and chicken. They neither stop selling what is making children sick nor do they tell the truth about these products in the classroom. Who do the schools work for? Who does this benefit? It benefits industries which have contracts with our schools.
"They put casein in glue" as an arguement for it being dangerous is misleading. I don't mean to sound patronising or anything, but just because something is industrial, it doesn't make it dangerous. Vegetables are frequently used in wood treatments, but they are not poisonous. The industrial uses of casein are irrelevant to it's dietary effects. The amount of casein a person consumes has negligable (at best) health implications, much less than say solanine, a nerve poison found in potatoes.
@MrBrutus101 - really? I have never heard of this... Is the milk from commercial farms (giving cows hormones) or all sources (pasture raised and grain fed)?
@MrBrutus101 Statistics show that death rates due to breast cancer are considerably higher in areas with a high dairy consumption (British Journal of Cancer) And a 2004 study showed that for every glass of milk a woman consumes each day her risk of dying from ovarian cancer goes up by 20 percent (American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, 2004). Countries that have low milk consumption have much, much lower rates of these and other hormone-related cancers, including prostate cancer.
@MrBrutus101 Not all of it, while I will of agree that there are decreases in your risk for cancers with breastfeeding, you can even further decrease your risk by not drinking milk, which also helps men as well.
@Elva420 Also, Children who consume high levels of dairy products may have a greater risk of developing colorectal cancer in adulthood, according to the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition (December 2007; 86: 1722-1729). Among nearly 5,000 individuals followed for an average of 65 years, those who grew up in families reporting the highest levels of dairy consumption—nearly two cups per day—had close to three times the risk of colorectal cancer compared with those
@Elva420 from families reporting the lowest intake (about 1/2 cup per day or less), reports Dr. Jolieke C. van der Pols of the University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia and colleagues. The level of milk consumption in the high-dairy group was similar to the estimated average daily intake of children in the United States, noted van der Pols and colleagues.
@PistolgripSmith1 Webmd says for any type of ovarian cancer there is an 44% increased risk and for serous tumors, the most common type is 66%, this is all with 1 to 2 glasses of milk a day. Osteoporosis recommendations are at just about the same consumption level that we are associating with ovarian cancer. I think it is worth investigating. You can't just believe everything you hear. I have found varying degrees of concern, however there IS much concern it seems.
@Elva420 mm ill look into it but even water these days is contaminated, Fluorides, BPA on everything we touch and consume i think the mere fact that we live in such a synthetic world that is the problem.
@MrBrutus101 someone with some sense. long story short, many years ago cancer was not a rife disease and people drank a lot of milk, it is due to obesity and our unhealthy lifestyle as well. I drink a lot of milk, I am fit, running 4 miles a day, and my heart is very healthy. I don't think this woman is from the medical profession.. maybe a wikipedia girl? :D
I have been saying the same thing about the dangers of milk to my family and work colleagues, some have listened with horror and changed their habits of milk drinking but others....well, they choose not to beleive it. After all...the Billboard/ television tells them otherwise. Grrrr!
@librazone "enhances tumor growth due to the casein " Especially in the liver and kidneys!
Moreover, dairy farms are some of the most cruel treatment of other sentient beings on the planet. Truly evil operations. I am not sure how some folks think they can lead decent lives while they commit these atrocities?!
Human being are the only animal that drinks milk when they are past their formative years. Yet all animals have bones which are stronger then those of humans.
@librazone "Yet all animals have bones which are stronger then those of humans." So true. Additionally, why does the nation that produces, promotes, and consumes the most dairy in the world have the highest rates of osteoporosis and bone cancer in the world? Got lies?
Your video was very interesting :D I myself have been a vegan for several years and i love it! My boyfriend has also chosen to go vegetarian and hopes to go vegan soon. My mom actually had very high cholesterol and was told through a blood test that she nearly had cardiovascular disease... she was sent to a nutritionist who advised her to become vegan.. My mom was vegan for a month or so.. and for that month alone all of her levels dropped to normal levels including her blood pressure..

Preparation list for a vegan video: 1. Put on a lof of concealer, especially over the dark eye circles. 2. Sit facing a window as to illuminate your sunken eyes and over-expose your deathly face
I am now seeing the physical consequences of these facts Shelley. My father has been a huge dairy consumer all his life. He would at least drink one glass of milk every day and cheese a few times a week. My father has osteoperosis and is now bent over and can only stay upright for half an hour and then has to lay down because of the heaviness in his back. He also has two big cysts in his kidneys.
Thank you. You are so beautiful. I bet most of your life is filled with joy, but contemplating the animal product eating delusion can be very saddening. I wish I could meet you. Come back to Cali Cali. Much love and a Merry Vegan Christmas.
this girl is such a dowber, I'll bet she is a depressing date...Maybe THAT'S why she is a lezzie...The boys all turned her down after listening to her shit/
What Dr. Campbell's glance at the China Study won't tell you is that casin was shown to promote cancer in rats only when it constituted about 20% of their diet, but those effects vanished when the casin was ingested along side other foods, like vegetables and grains. His conclusion that "animal based proteins promote cancer" just shows what an agenda driven quack he is, as no other animal based protein showed that effect in studies.
Quick, someone send a fax to Mother Nature and tell her to stop making tits forthwith. It's obvious that milk causes babies to lose their calcium and their bones get brittle and they waste away. You might think that they get fat and jolly, but that would make Shell123 rather foolish, so that can't be right. Mother Nature has been working on this for about, oh, a hundred million years, what does she know? Mother Nature is a fool and Shell is a brilliant god. Thou shalt not doubt the crying loon.
@LucisFerre1 If drinking milk after weaning is natural, then why are three out of every four adults unable to digest milk? Easy answer: nature did not intend for mammals to consume milk when they're able to eat solid foods, so lactase production shuts off at that time. The one out of four that is able to digest milk has a genetic mutation that keeps lactase production on throughout adulthood.
Um, I don't think Mother Nature intended humans to climb underneath a cow. I think you've missed a vital point here. A cow is a different species of animal from a human, in case you hadn't noticed.
@LucisFerre1 I couldn't help but laugh at your comment :D, you know in all my time in medicine I was taught fatty food and obesity was the key factor to accelerating cancer and abnormal body functions.. damn I have been wrong all this time! I shall join in your plight to tell mother nature off. xx
of course the milk , and all products becoming for the others specimens ( only when do you fight and win the life of another specimen you can eat wiht out consecuences) produce CANCER AND A LOTS ANOMALIES OF THE MIND AND BODY;LOOK AROUND THE PLANET;
VIOLENCE;RACISM;KILLING;CRIME;INJUSTICEA.....
of course too the vegans, vegetarians, frutarians and row people, have one feet in the paradise of the eternity liberty and freedom...
@DrewPicklesOgre Thanks for the advice, but no thanks. The only way to get it when it is not rotten is suck straight from the mama's cows teets. Good luck with that :)
See, cow's milk is the perfect food...for baby cows. I am neither a baby nor a cow.
I still don't care about veganism, I still just want to fuck her. What a pansy, she should have been more motivated to killing animals after her parents killed that animal. Just shut up and fuck
Dear insane liar bitch- practice what you preach and since you think animals have more right to life then men, kill yourself immediately coward practice what you preach. Not only would your crazy ass being dead be great for enviroment and save water air landfill space for sane humans, one less animal worshipping lying insane bitch would be best thing for hman race possible. Pfft. Drivel. Enjoy your stinky, copious farts vegans, along with your anaemia and osteoporosis. I'm going to continue eating meat.
Just because you don't want to eat meat or dairy, don't try to bullshit people that it's dangerous for them just to stop them from consuming them. Almonds have cyanide in them, should we stop eating them?
@1imesub Osteoporosis risk factors include hyperparathyroidism, menopause, smoking, low vitamin D levels (actually 1,25 hydroxyvitamin D; poor intake, low levels of sun exposure, kidney disease, or a combination of these), excessive alcohol, or heavy metal exposure, but not consuming normal amounts of animal protein.
You clearly know little about empirical science or medicine. Stop reading made up alternative medicine nonsense, buy a second hand medical textbook and you'll be much better off.
@Dallas8844 Blah, blah, blah... bone demineralization in western society is a result of excess acid in the system. It comes from a diet high in animal proteins. The Inuit, for example, begin suffering from the disease as teenagers. And I'm not just talking about modern Inuit; the ancient "pre-contact" Inuit were just as plagued by the disease.
@1imesub Read my previous post. Lack of sun exposure. If you aren't producing 1,25 hydroxyvitamin D, you can't absorb dietary Ca, and you get osteoporosis. It is produced when skin is exposed to the sun, and Inuits are covered up.
Occam's Razor states that the simplest explanation is likely correct. Therefore it's more likely the established risk factor of lack of sun exposure than an unsupported theory about eating animals causing their osteoporosis. Your beliefs are not supported by the data.
@1imesub It doesn't have to end like that. If you just retreat away from arguments you cannot win, what are you going to learn? Meat is safe to eat - always has been, always will be. If you choose not to eat it on ethical grounds, that's fine, and you can encourage others to do the same, just don't spread false information about their health.
@Dallas8844 About the PDAY study: you're right, it doesn't deal with cancer, it deals with atherosclerosis. A breakthrough study though regardless. In the study they autopsied thousands of Americans age 16-?? who died from various accidents, homicides, suicides, and found ALL of them to have atherosclerosis (diseased arteries). The study showed that EVERYONE eating the SAD develops the disease early in life. The study was repeated on the Papua highlanders and their arteries were clean.
@1imesub said, [["Blah, blah, blah... bone demineralization in western society is a result of excess acid in the system. It comes from a diet high in animal proteins."]]
No it doesn't. It comes from ingesting BUTTLOADS of phosphoric acid in soft drinks. There's been shown a direct correlation between the ingestion of phosphoric acid and strong decalcification.
@Dallas8844 apple seeds have cyanide in them too, mother nature is trying to kill the vegans off very stealthily.. but shh... she is trying to do it discreetly. Look at M.Ghandi, he was a vegan and he had to drink goat milk because his health deteriorated. also working in orthopaedics, vegans have more brittle bones and very bad weak teeth. we need a varied diet!
Sadly I drank some milk just before I saw this video, but with my dying breath I'd like to thank you for exposing cows' secret plan to poison their offspring with their udder venom.
Cows milk is for baby cows and is not needed in the human diet. The proof is that even adult cows do not need milk and they still have incredibly strong bones.
@DrewPicklesOgre "Milk strenghtens our bones" Actually nothing could be further from the truth. Are you interested in the truth? If so, start with this basic question: Why does the nation that produces, promotes, and consumes more milk than any other nation on Earth have the highest rates of osteoporosis and bone cancer?
@FathomlessJoy Working in orthopaedics, its due to obesity, and an unhealthy lifestyle. mothers eat unhealthy and their child does not develop the bones properly, obesity putting strain on the bones, and a mix of an unfit nation, and unhealthy living is the contributing factor. the key is moderation.
@FathomlessJoy I am a nurse, and my Father in law is an orthopaedic surgeon. We recently had someone who was a vegan with brittle bones, we cant force food on them but they are now on a lot of supplements to help them recover. :)
@DianeDi Well as I mentioned earlier its about moderation. WE can also argue that fizzy drinks are also a huge influencing factor on bad teeth and bones and it extracts the calcium from our bones. Working in orthopaedics I have come across a few vegans with brittle bones because they lacked the essential minerals and vitamins. But then, there a lot of obese with the same problem. too little and too much is the cause.
@KassCraven You obviously didn't watch the video I included earlier. Typical, folks think they know everything. Why don't you try being informed, rather than just opinionated.
@DianeDi I didn't watch the video because the video didn't exist, I am informed, I have to be in my work area. As for knowing everything, I don't claim to know everything, I am constantly learning and I just don't like when some facts are omitted. In my work I am free to offer my opinions based on well researched facts and knowledge of the situation. In my opinion, people should really educate themselves and understand how their body works, and the basics of food and health.
@KassCraven Acid vs Alkaline - the video does exist - put this into Google search & it should be in the top one or two
** acid vs. alkaline dianedi **
I thought I was "informed" as well, I worked in the pharmaceutical industry for many years & believe me, we have all been hoodwinked. Wish it wasn't so, I am only here to warn others.
Check out my link *FORKS OVER KNIVES* on my main page description (left) - this is one amazing documentary from 2011. It won't disappoint !
@DianeDi Ah thanks I found it! xxx Also in the video oranges are classed as alkaline but their pH i think i 4.6, although in my medical field I know that although oranges are acidic, they can harm teeth, they leave an alkaline residue. plus the acidity content of the orange helps the absorption of iron, hence why we have orange juice at breakfast. I am enjoying your videos and the chatting! actually im watching a fair few of your vids.
@DrewPicklesOgre "its GOOD for us" You really need to get the facts. Get The China Study. It is the most comprehensive nutrional study that humans have ever conducted, its findings peer reviewed by hundreds of scientists, bio-chemists, doctors, and it shows clear linkages between milk and cancer. Sorry bud. Milk: it does a body bad!
Casein is terrific for building muscle and keeping the body in an anabolic state. Your body fat percentage would be much lower if you had a few glasses of milk each day.
@JCGrantatAC We know that leukemia comes from dairy, and potentialy beef as well, so why should anyone expect other forms of cancer be any different? Dairy not only causes cancer, but autoimmmune diseases like type I diabetes in children. It's a filthy industry based on misleading advertizing and bad science.
@JCGrantatAC So, nothing causes anything... cause and effect is just a fake concept. Go spread your lies elsewhere, mate, I've already heard these lame responses a million times.
@JCGrantatAC Which is why people who eat death get cancer... and those who eat exclusively plant based (vegan) diets don't. Open your eyes, son. You've been brainwashed into believing animal agriculture is somehow natural, and that man was designed to eat dead animals and drink their breast milk on a daily basis. He wasn't.
@1imesub Great point. I have been vegetarian all my life. Being vegetarian(who is transitioning into a vegan is a great lifestyle choice. We are indeed healthier. I think eating meat is primitive! Check out this video! /watch?v=aS5CpSXDULM

@georgefall5 After eating 6 bananas and 32 oz of OJ, I'm already surpassing the RDA recommendation of calcium. No diary whatsoever.
101011b 1 week ago
@101011b That sounds like an all round healthy balanced meal, You're also going sky high on sugar intake. one cup of milk contains 300mg of calcium a banna contains 6mg.
georgefall5 1 week ago
@georgefall5 After having been on low carb, I'd agree that it would be an insane amount of sugar to ingest. One thing that I didn't bother researching was the difference between fruit sugar and processed sugar, that was a small minor detail Atkins left out of his books. Then I have to ask do you "know" for sure how much calcium is needed for the body?
101011b 1 week ago
@101011b A high amount of sugar in a diet causes sleep deprevation, bad skin and allso fuels cancer, but im whats the point getting soppy over it like this woman, when you could just get on with life? No not for sure, i dont think the people that feed the figures do for sure either.
georgefall5 1 week ago
@georgefall5 What kind of sugar are you talking about? Not all carbs are the same as all protein as all fats. So far on 80% fructose I'm getting better nutrients and antioxidants than I would on low carb. Getting on with life is one thing but how it's done is another. Long term health care for myself and other animals is important. I'd rather die in my sleep than a heart attack or cancer or...
101011b 1 week ago
@101011b They all taste the same. Yeah true, Why bring death quicker. But you could get hit by a bus, caught up in a robbery no one knows. Going down to this finer detail seems silly, you could be out enjoying yourself? The screen you're looking at now is killing you, as would you're mobile phone or the radiation that everyday you expose yourself to.
georgefall5 1 week ago
@georgefall5 How the sugars react to your body is the important thing. Fate might have it's way with you one day, eventually. Some of us want to experience longer and with better quality as we have things to strive for; otherwise it wouldn't matter much at all. Research my friend and I hope you live long happy days ahead.
101011b 1 week ago
@101011b I will never ever understand the mindsets some people live in. Im gunna stick to a balanced diet and plenty of excersize. The rest of the time i can enjoy myself. You know, have some fun. Greed's the biggest killer in all of this.
georgefall5 6 days ago
@georgefall5 Wow, you must be right! Let me check my bloodworks... No wait, after being vegan for 8 years I still don't have calcium defifiencies, never had. That's strange, maybe it's that calcium-fortified soy or nut milk I've ben drinking, or all those dark leafy greens? There are plenty of calcium sources on a dairy-free diet.
virrevojj 6 days ago
@virrevojj Have you ever spent a thaught to how they get to you? or who grows them? And please tell me what the world would look like if everyone under the sun managed to have you're diet. Soy's almost as grusome work as some slaughterhouses. Take you're blinkers off and look outside the box.
georgefall5 6 days ago
@georgefall5 GMO and non-organic soy is bad, I don't disagree with that. Hence, it's important to chose good soy products. Still, most of that soy goes to the animals bred for meat, so even if you were to go for that non-organic or -gmo soy product, you'd still do less harm than going for the animal product.
Personally though, I always go for good soy.
virrevojj 6 days ago
@virrevojj If everyone under the sun had my diet? Well it would most certainly look way better than if everyone under the sun had an omnivore diet. Better for health reasons, better for the animals, and way better for the people.
Nevertheless, my response was towards your claim that lack of dairy equals lack of calcium, something I have proved not to be the case.
virrevojj 6 days ago
@virrevojj im getting at the point not everyone can have your diet. alot of the magical produce you replace your diet with is destroying someone or something elsewere in some cases worse than the problem you're trying to solve in the first place, Everybody makes it sound so simple. Dairy is a good source of calcium, dosnt mean every meat eater just eats steak and cheeseburgers.

There is nothing more irritating than someone who decides to find a little 'spin' on something and exploits it and exaggerates it. I wonder why people choose products enriched with Vit D and Vit D supplements? Even 4ounces of soy contain only 10% recomended dietary calcium. This in turn is again boosting those pharma companies that test their products on animals before placing it on our grocery counter-tops.
KassCraven 1 month ago
@KassCraven Casein & Whey are a couple of dairy by-products "hidden" in vegan prepared foods. I guarantee you they are not in mine. Vitamin D is the sunshine vitamin / hormone, and this has nothing to do with being vegan, you are probably confused with B12. I've done extensive research over the last decade and there is no doubt in my mind that a plant based, whole foods diet is best for health and disease prevention. Dairy should be the first thing humans eliminate completely.
DianeDi 1 month ago
@DianeDi nope, I am not confusing it with B12, vitamin D is also found in dairy priducts, fish and oysters. M. Ghandi wanted a vegetable lifestyle and his health deteriorated and ended up drinking goats milk to get his health back up. you may be doing research but I work in the field of bones and food, so I am aware of the side effects of various foods. Vegan, meat eater, vegetarian, who cares, its a way of life. I don't like people preaching about incorrect facts. ;)
KassCraven 1 month ago
@KassCraven Vitamin D is added to dairy products because it is best absorbed with calcium - the very same calcium being depleted because dairy is acidic. The best source is sunshine, D3 supplements & even tanning beds in moderation - my own doctor recommends them. Do note that all seafood are filters of the sea and absorb many times their weight in toxins. Muscles absorb up to 400 times their weight... not good. Google "Ghandi's greatest regret" You have it all wrong.
DianeDi 1 month ago
Gandhi was pressed to take milk by doctors attending to him for pleurisy when he was briefly in England in 1914 but his refusal was absolute. The same thing happened in his most serious illness from disentery and fever in 1918. This time Kasturbai reminded him that his vow was against cow's milk; surely he was free to take goat's milk To his lasting regret Gandhi gave way and he drank goat's milk for the rest of his life. 'This has been', he said later, 'the tragedy of my life'.
DianeDi 1 month ago
@DianeDi @DianeDi thanks for the info on the sea creature stuff, I didn't know about the muscles, (although I prefer fresh water over sea).

Period.
brainmerody 2 weeks ago
@DianeDi No..no..no. Inuits did not suffer from diabetes, cancer and heart disease on an diet based on 100% animals. In fact. All people who eat their natural food (we could do that) are healthy.

You might think that they get fat and jolly, but that would make Shell123 rather foolish, so that can't be right.

Pfft.
Dallas8844 3 months ago
@Dallas8844 Osteoporosis is caused by consuming animal proteins... you have no clue what you are talking about. LOL
1imesub 3 months ago
@1imesub Osteoporosis risk factors include hyperparathyroidism, menopause, smoking, low vitamin D levels (actually 1,25 hydroxyvitamin D; poor intake, low levels of sun exposure, kidney disease, or a combination of these), excessive alcohol, or heavy metal exposure, but not consuming normal amounts of animal protein.
You clearly know little about empirical science or medicine. Stop reading made up alternative medicine nonsense, buy a second hand medical textbook and you'll be much better off.
Dallas8844 3 months ago
@Dallas8844 Blah, blah, blah... bone demineralization in western society is a result of excess acid in the system. It comes from a diet high in animal proteins. The Inuit, for example, begin suffering from the disease as teenagers. And I'm not just talking about modern Inuit; the ancient "pre-contact" Inuit were just as plagued by the disease.
1imesub 3 months ago
@1imesub Read my previous post. Lack of sun exposure. If you aren't producing 1,25 hydroxyvitamin D, you can't absorb dietary Ca, and you get osteoporosis. It is produced when skin is exposed to the sun, and Inuits are covered up.
Occam's Razor states that the simplest explanation is likely correct. Therefore it's more likely the established risk factor of lack of sun exposure than an unsupported theory about eating animals causing their osteoporosis. Your beliefs are not supported by the data.

@Dallas8844 Blah, blah, blah.... I ain't readin' that ignorant shit. Fuck you.
1imesub 3 months ago
@1imesub It doesn't have to end like that. If you just retreat away from arguments you cannot win, what are you going to learn? Meat is safe to eat - always has been, always will be. If you choose not to eat it on ethical grounds, that's fine, and you can encourage others to do the same, just don't spread false information about their health.

@Dallas8844 Dude, go jump off a cliff please. Thanks so much.

KassCraven 1 month ago
Sadly I drank some milk just before I saw this video, but with my dying breath I'd like to thank you for exposing cows' secret plan to poison their offspring with their udder venom.
theartificialkid 3 months ago
Cows milk is for baby cows and is not needed in the human diet. The proof is that even adult cows do not need milk and they still have incredibly strong bones.

@librazone Milk strenghtens our bones you dork, its GOOD for us
DrewPicklesOgre 2 months ago
@DrewPicklesOgre "Milk strenghtens our bones" Actually nothing could be further from the truth. Are you interested in the truth? If so, start with this basic question: Why does the nation that produces, promotes, and consumes more milk than any other nation on Earth have the highest rates of osteoporosis and bone cancer?
FathomlessJoy 2 months ago
@FathomlessJoy Working in orthopaedics, its due to obesity, and an unhealthy lifestyle. mothers eat unhealthy and their child does not develop the bones properly, obesity putting strain on the bones, and a mix of an unfit nation, and unhealthy living is the contributing factor. the key is moderation.
KassCraven 1 month ago
@KassCraven What do you do in orthopedics?
FathomlessJoy 1 month ago
@FathomlessJoy I am a nurse, and my Father in law is an orthopaedic surgeon. We recently had someone who was a vegan with brittle bones, we cant force food on them but they are now on a lot of supplements to help them recover. :)
KassCraven 1 month ago
@KassCraven Brittle bones --- you might want to watch Acid vs Alkaline. /watch?v=7ceJI2Cnz1w
The more dairy you consume the more osteoporosis - it's about PH balance.
In addition, fluoride in water, foods, cooking, is a problem for bone health.
DianeDi 1 month ago
@DianeDi Well as I mentioned earlier its about moderation. WE can also argue that fizzy drinks are also a huge influencing factor on bad teeth and bones and it extracts the calcium from our bones. Working in orthopaedics I have come across a few vegans with brittle bones because they lacked the essential minerals and vitamins. But then, there a lot of obese with the same problem. too little and too much is the cause.
KassCraven 1 month ago
@KassCraven You obviously didn't watch the video I included earlier. Typical, folks think they know everything. Why don't you try being informed, rather than just opinionated.
DianeDi 1 month ago
@DianeDi I didn't watch the video because the video didn't exist, I am informed, I have to be in my work area. As for knowing everything, I don't claim to know everything, I am constantly learning and I just don't like when some facts are omitted. In my work I am free to offer my opinions based on well researched facts and knowledge of the situation. In my opinion, people should really educate themselves and understand how their body works, and the basics of food and health.
KassCraven 1 month ago

RAW milk is different than pasteurized milk. Be natural, and be a omnivore.

Casein is terrific for building muscle and keeping the body in an anabolic state. Your body fat percentage would be much lower if you had a few glasses of milk each day.
JCGrantatAC 3 months ago
@JCGrantatAC Casein stimulates cancer growth. It has been demonstrated in lab experiments.
1imesub 3 months ago
@1imesub Campbell's China Study has been completely discredited and proven to be pure vegan propaganda. The literature about it is legion.
JCGrantatAC 3 months ago
@JCGrantatAC We know that leukemia comes from dairy, and potentialy beef as well, so why should anyone expect other forms of cancer be any different? Dairy not only causes cancer, but autoimmmune diseases like type I diabetes in children. It's a filthy industry based on misleading advertizing and bad science.
1imesub 3 months ago
@1imesub Are you kidding me? Take a science or Intro to Statistics class. Drownings and ice cream sales are correlated, but neither causes the other.
JCGrantatAC 3 months ago
@JCGrantatAC So, nothing causes anything... cause and effect is just a fake concept. Go spread your lies elsewhere, mate, I've already heard these lame responses a million times.
1imesub 3 months ago
@1imesub Science matters, son. There is no room for guesswork by ham & eggers like you when it comes to people's health and nutrition.
JCGrantatAC 3 months ago
