Size has nothing to do with how strong it is. The F scale is not by size, its by wind speed and surface damage. You could have a massive wedge tornado and only be classified as F1, you could have a small rope tornado be F5.

Unfortunately, I have to agree here. Most tornado chasing videos on Youtube are pure sensation seeking and are NOT related to scientific research. I would expect a real storm chaser to have a scientific interest. But science is a serious thing and requires people to behave rationally to be able to collect important data that might help us to predict tornados. Yelling and screaming has nothing to do with this rational behaviour. So, from a scientific point of view, these videos are worthless.
