Am I the only one who doesn't like it? I mean, the tone is great and it was fine up until the piccolo came in...

The two parts did not agree with each other. It just didn't flow very smoothly

The playing and sound quality is great of course, but compositionally I don't think it's too great

@NewFluteGirl14 it's a bit difficult to get a good aperture, (spelling?)

this is from my experience, and you'll constantly go sharp so having a good ear and listening to your tuning as the elements change during marching band is important.

I personally am not a marching band fan, of course because I look forwards to the music, and most of the time, it seems everyone is out of tune. I know it's for the formations and stuff. But I'd rather hear it in a concert hall, just pure music :) no offense

@fattyman149 Yes they are :) I play both :D The only thing is the piccolo has no lower body part. You know, the part with the lower C key. And piccolo requires a very small embouchure.

In the third octave there are a few differences, mostly to keep the picc in tune.

Interesting choice to place Saria's song as a background piece to the other. Your technique is obviously fabulous, but as a videogame connoisseur (nerd) I must point out that the Lost Woods theme,

which is a variation of Saria's Song is played by dancing whistling elf-like creatures playing primitive whistle type instruments, and as such requires a very frolicking dance-like rhythm in the playing.
