  • this so cool! i'm so gonna try all of these cloning techniques as soon as i get a decent camera!

  • Thanks again Rich for another great tutorial. One small word of advice however... the volume really drops between your video and your overdub during the suite explanation. You may want to tweak up the microphone volume a bit... it's hard to hear compared to the original video.

  • @askjerry Was my first tutorial on the new computer, am having issues with the sound card, hopefully will have it sorted soon ;)

  • @richw4

Couldn't you just increase the volume in Vegas?

  • @richw4 I will check them out, thanks..

  • good and good and good and good and always good. nice work!

  • @pariastabendesa cheers very muchly! :)

  • awsome video rich keep up the good work

  • @LowbudgetBillionaire Thanks so much..will do! :)

  • At last! It's here! Thanks a lot, Rich! Now I too can pass objects to myself!

  • @Lepper36 yaay glad you found it helpful! :)

  • ya that definetly "on edge" alright.... not many people put bathing videos on youtube... as far as i know anyway... good thing this isen't chat roleat... i've herd "storys" about that website, and none of them are good ones...

  • @devlynandlink I tried the chat roulette site for a laugh one morning and there are some very dodgy things going on there...never again ! Good luck with the essays my friend :)

  • Rich tell me what video codec are u using in camstudio because codec which I have makes the video is "in bad latency" i dont know how to describe that :) Please respond

  • @pawel134679 i have the same problem but i have solved that. I use my own way to make camstudio good. anyway rich just use the default codec for camstudio. and i guess he make the render settings to BEST that takes really long time,

    here are the solution

    1. use the microsoft video 1 codec

    2. in vegas, change the screen size to 720 x 480 (fit for camstudio)

    3. render in BEST quality for your camstudio

that takes a long time, but you can just do any other activities while rendering right?

  • @pariastabendesa The solution to my problem was incorrect video codec :) I have downloaded CamStudio Lossless Codec v1.4 and it works brilliant, thanks for the advice btw

  • Comment removed

  • @pawel134679 oh. i'm sorry i dont read your problems clearly. i was focusing on how can i make camstudio quality better on vegas. but i have my camstudio with the lossless codec lags and brokens.

if you want to import to vegas, i recommend you to download camtasia and use the techsmith codec which is the best that i know, or you can just use your lossless codec. or use my advice that i show you earlier.

  • @pawel134679 I use the Microsoft Video 1 but if the Lossless you downloaded works better use that :) Does it create really large files?

  • @richw4 About one minute clip with resolution 1280x1024 has got ~160 MB :) But the video is in HD

  • @richw4 me too

  • Comment removed

  • ohhhhhh very intresting!

  • @Kevinjanssen21 eww! Yes we don't want any brown submarines and boats to play with in the bath! :)

  • nice if you have upgraded your vegas. anyway, thx a lot for all of your tutorials until this time. i have my pro 10 but lags on my notebook. instead, i just use the vegas pro 8

  • @pariastabendesa Sony were doing an upgrade from previous versions for just £89 so It was worth it :)

  • The more i look at your tutorials the more amazed i am! :P Kudos

  • @Bardon1991 thanks so much! :)

  • rich i posted on ur other video u responded once but not another time and tbh ur response was very lacking please dont be rude and respond

  • @NiXuid sorry if I didn't repsond, as you can image with over 400 videos I get hundreds of comments every day! I try to reply to as many as I can especially when new vids go up, it's not being rude at all, some Youtubers don't reply at all :)

Which video comment are you referring to? would be helpful for me to find it

  • @NiXuid can u help stop bullying

  • you... dirty dwarf XDDDD

  • I was looking out for your phone. Another key element to getting this video right....don't put yer phone in the water people!

  • @Kie77 Hiding behind the shower curtain ...but make sure it don't slip in! By the way I love your tash removal pics...did you make any vids when it looked like a certain Dictator? :)

  • @richw4 Charlie Chaplin was no dictator lad.

No - I didn't do any vids of that, I didn't really get chance that night.

You've inspired me to make a video this week....again if I get chance.

  • haha..thanks rich...been waiting for this....

  • @piticee123 Finally got round to making it lol well seeing as the new PC is making editing so much quicker, am making another tutorial today yaay! :)

  • haha.. you are so funny and so talented sir! :D also you really help me with vegas!! thank you for that too, sir!! :D

  • @TaraArtsMovie Really pleased you find them helpful! :)

  • Thanks again.

  • Very good tutorial and awesome intro!!!

  • @Conrrad1 cheers dude! :)

  • nice vid but a tad gay? I mean, can you get gay with yourself? It's not homo, it's mono?

  • @RDJim its masturbation ;D

  • @RDJim LOL Mono! you do make me larf :)

  • Good tutorial, Rich :)

  • @UncleFesterius OO hello!!! Great to hear from you :)))

  • AS always great vid and great job woot love your vids.

  • @larcenyinc thanks so much :)

  • Hey Rich Just Wondering what settings you use for your screen recorder?

  • @chocolatejacko I recorded the full screen in Camstudio 2. My screen is 1920x1080 but still messing with the camstudio settings with my new pc :)

  • The best work I've seen in your vids! Very professional! It looked as though there actually two of you, it was done that well! :D

  • @BloodySawBlade Thanks you, really appreciate that :)

  • Well done, Rich!! Hilarious and instructional!! =)

  • @MZMStudios thanks so much my friend! :)

  • he's not short he's...fuuuun sized that song is very catchy

  • @iliketomakesexytime Audionautix did a brilliant job on the theme tune but as I say, once it's in your head you will have to have it surgically removed by a head doctor! :)

  • very nice.

  • awesome tutorial! always a million things to learn in this prog! thanks!

  • @nukem384 and I'm still learning! LOL The best thing is when you learn that combining a couple of things creates something wicked (just making another tut today on something i discovered...)

  • 69 likes, peep peep. (70 now :) )

  • @ItsCallum cheers my friend :)

  • @richw4 what program are you using?? I am interested!

  • @TheAngryAmericanwon It's sony Vegas pro 10, you can check the different versions out at sonycreativesoftware :)

  • 3 minute edit allows a little split show... if ya spent more time it'd been perfect..good edit

  • Great tutorial! I watched it although I don't have sony vegas... Can you make a tutorial on how to clean yellow baths??? That'd be really helpfull. Thanks!

  • @freetrader0000 Cleaning yellow baths, going ot have to think about that, don't think Flash will do it, maybe I'll try Cillit Bang! :)

  • IDK you had tats that kicks ass bro

  • @Aaronwoodiscool cheers dude :) here's a link to my tats vid showing what they are:

    watch?v=IkZwpVZmGIw

  • As always, your video has helped a lot! Thanks, dude!

  • @SephBentos you are welcome :)

  • you have tattoos XD dats tight

    great tutorial btw thanks :D

  • @MeNinjah2 love my tats! Glad you enjoyed the tut and tat lol :)

  • I like this....................

  • @kevkonk thanks mate :)

  • great tutorial Rich.. Yellow bath water. Sounds a bit like most of my baths I have lol.. Is it at all possible to take an object from your clone rather than placing it down ?. I have tried but the video gets broken up at the point in the passing of the objects.

  • @markasomerville It is possible to pass the object without setting down but it is a bit trickier and I will do a tutorial on it later. To give you a hint if you place say a mug on an object (take a blank shot of the scene first) then mask out the objects to reveal the background..looks like the mug is mid air...then time the clips as one clone puts it on the object the other is there to pick it straight up at the same time..

  • Looks like the start of this Dwarves porn I was just watching.

  • @anthritVlog LOL Did you buy my DVD? ;)

  • Dirty little dwarf, pissing in the bath! That's how to flood the bathroom & drown poor Fonzy, if he's not careful! great tutorial Rich love from a mild Scotland, but preparing or the snow this weekend. Plenty of cans & salt in cupboards :D xxx 5*

  • @ukp42 When I got out the bath he shouted that he had made a submarine...dread to think! Yes you had better batten down the hatches Paul and get stocked up...apparently it's a cert for a white chrimble and some on line stores in Scotlandland have stopped taking orders...DON'T PANIC! lol Love from a very sneekily we're hiding the snow clouds just out of sight, warm Yorkshireland x :)

  • rich i like the tutorial and all it was very helpful but WTF?!

no offence but dont you think its a bit gay that you were in the bath with a man?! which was actaully yourself but C"MON! A MAN!!! lol

  • @iagorockboy LOL it's not gay, you have to be a man truly comfortable with his sexuality to make humour like this lol!

  • @richw4 lol, i know man, im just kiding, great tut man. hey you know how u call ur gang Dwidgets? im thinking of calling my gang, The Rockers. what do you think?

  • So that's how you do it then .. I don't know what I would do without your great tutorials they have shown me so much .. "THANKS MAN"

  • @AS6VIDEO you are most welcome Andy..it's always nice to watch your vids and see how you put them into practice too! :)

  • do you know of any free programmes that do similar to sony vegas? bit like GIMP being the "free version" of photoshop? because alll your work looks interesting, and i wouldnt mind having a dabble, but im not really able to shell out for the software, and i dont really do editing projects very often.

  • sounds all complacated... and i am glad u diden't stand up......

  • @devlynandlink Yes the bath vids require a bit of scrutiny before putting up live! don't know why I just don't wear some shorts? Live live on the edge lol :)

  • muy bueno men apoyo 100% desde venezuela :D

  • @canon230 gracias! :)

  • Did u buy the full version of sony vegas pro 10?

    Its like £500!

  • @BenK445 i use keygen, i got it for free!

  • @BenK445 I upgraded on a special offer from Pr0 8 and it only cost around £85...

  • Clever stuff, Rich. :) ~ What does Charli think of the idea of a three-way with her, you, and you? :p

  • @maintoc ooo err I dare not ask Mark! Although regardless what she says I'm definitely not up for it given his bathing habits! ;)

  • I so have to get a copy of this programe, guess what im doing when the Jan sale starts hahahah H&E Rich

  • @DibbersPage yaay! Keep an eye out on their site as they sometimes do special offers although the basic versions of Vegas are quite reasonable. sonycreativesoftware

  • great tutorial! i love these techniques for cloning.

  • @SnarkyE The world needs more clones! :)

  • does the vegas 10 do motion tracking like after effects???

  • @1123581321enter no, you can track motion of objects put into your projects (see my tutorials on it) but cannot anchor them to points in the video :( Boris do a nice plug in for Vegas that allows motion tracking within Vegas... :)

  • what program do you use? because i'm going to be going to High School next year and I'm hoping to ask this for my parents on Graduation day, for a gift to help me in High School for English Video projects and stuff! thanks! :D

  • @PizzaBlade17 he said Sony Vegas 10 pro :-)

  • @PizzaBlade17 It's Sony Vegas 10 Pro although they do several versions starting at very affordable prices working up to the pro versions. check Sonycreativesoftware for details :)

  • Great tutorial Rich :D hilarious opening as well lol

  • @kattwoman17 not bathing with him again! ;)

  • i think u need to get like a big green screen so when u do cloning it wont have to be a still camera

try and a tutorial on that if u can

  • @hardchristian2k9 I have a big green screen that is actually from a haberdashers shop..a large piece of green (thick) fabric from a roll. Very cheap and works well :)

  • errrr nasty? lol

  • @richw4 thanks, im getting sony vegas hd studio for christmas :)

  • Haha... after all these years ... after all these videos :D

u stay getting more fun then ever Before :D, keep it up <rich3

  • @TodayIPlayRs Thank you, blimey doesn't time fly?! :)

  • Are you gonna do some after effects tutorials?

  • Ah ha! so that's how it's done.

One question though Rich, do I really have to have a bath with you? Lol

  • @IanDigs LOL it's a jacuzzi bath Ian, sure you don't wanna jump in heehe :)

  • @richw4 Errrrrr let me think about that for a while, NO Lol

  • nice tats rich

  • @ergalybergaly1753 thanks you so much! The one on my back took ages ..well it seemed like ages when they are sticking pins and ink into you lol! :)

  • @richw4 You're a funny guy Rich ;) Got 5 re-submissions for Wednesday - coupled with prep for a speaking exam tomorrow... Anyway, done 4/5 essays. Tomorrow is the final push to freedom! But it includes writing an essay pretty much from scratch. Sad face. Anyway, off for the speaking preparation now, wish me luck :D

  • Dude that is pure awsomeness!

  • @RandomNetworks cheers dude! :)

  • I have a feeling on how the greenscreening clone is going to work out, I didnt know abotu this tutorial as I thought you literally meant passing, not putting down and picking up etc. Not that thats bad, because thats all I needed to know anyway :P Cool tutorial, although it is a bit strange how recently your always in the bath in your videos :P

  • @xjx2 Yes I'm always in the bath...with the cold weather my arthritis gets really painful so a nice dip in a hot jacuzzi bath works wonder yaay :)

  • How's the new PC rich? the speed of an i7 is great huh?

  • @thehostler I7 is brilliant, loving being able to edit in real time at 1920x1080! Although the graphics card really helps for this. Rendering is sooo quick compared to the old laptopo...this video rendered in around 5 minutes :)

  • Can you pass it to your clone without setting it down first? Also, how much space and ram did you need for Sony Vegas? Nice tutorial!

  • @davideshafer Not much, I think its around 3 or 4gb.

  • @davideshafer You can pass it without setting down, it's a bit more complicated and will do another tutorial later. From Sony creative software:

    Microsoft® Windows® XP 32-bit SP3, Windows Vista® 32-bit or 64-bit SP2, or Windows 7 32-bit or 64-bit

2 GHz processor (multicore or multiprocessor CPU recommended for HD or stereoscopic 3D)

400 MB hard-disk space for program installation

1 GB RAM (2 GB recommended)

  • Your tutorials are helpful as always!

  • @Tomek35050 happy to help :)

  • Great tutorial as usual Rich :)

  • @Caddick12345 thanks dude! :)

  • Haha :D

Very nice tutorial, and very helpfull

  • @Waffel180 Cheers! Just feel I need to have another bath now after he turned the water yellow! :)

  • That was Funky

  • @TheLukePearce yaay for funky! :)

  • @richw4 :D Rich would you like to collab of some sort?

  • like it rich .... i have been thinking of doing a short sketch that involved me as both characters and this will help

  • @shuktuki good timing putting this one up then ! have fun :)

  • lol The split was barely barely noticeable. Well done!

  • @Pippilly aww thanks...you are too kind :)

  • Dear rich, I know I'm really boring, is it possible to make disappear an object or I must use greenscreen and scale the object in the 2 scenarios? :P

  • @MrShoy You aren't boring! You can take a blank shot without the object in, then mask it out to reveal the blank background underneath if that makes sense..the tutorial on 'ghostly poltergeist effect' goes some way to explain this :)

  • @richw4 and that is like this tutorial you made, but if the are objects behind it that are moving? :P :P Ok I will try the ghost effect, thank you rich! :D

  • Good job. Great tutorial. Enjoyed it.

  • @garyandleslied thank you, hope you find use for it :)

  • omg ive been looking for a way to do this since for ever...thank you rich ^.^

  • @05naruto05 glad to help! :)

  • Wuhey! Watching this on a break between essays. Really cool method, and I'll be sure to practise it over crimbo!

  • @daivv ooo essays! I remember back doing my O-levels and A levels we had to write all of our work (essays included) by hand...so tedious...lucky I do 'short hand' badoom ;)

  • Very Cool Tutorial! Never thought of doing it this way! :-)

Just putting the finnishing touches on my christmas entry : D

Have you ever thought about re-merging the age groups because you have had so few entries? Just a thought : )
