  • I love your video! I keep learning so much. Very informative. Thank you so so much! n__n

  • You are so helpful, I wish I could come to you for treatments!

  • is it safe to use a 30% glycolic peel every night??????

  • @starfairy12345

    no no no no!!!

  • @starfairy12345

    No! Thats way too much!

  • Dr. Schultz i know how important chemical peels are for ones skin. my question is is it safe to use a 30 % glycolic peel every night?

  • @sexytannedbitch I use 50% Glycolic acid from a very reliable source that supplys beauty sallons e.t.c. Sometimes i get no pain, burning or soreness at all but my skin will always go dry after 2 days,on the 3rd,4th day it all rubs off when i wash, feeling much smoother but still looks red in places, after 7 -10 days it starts to settle out.

Then somedays i use it and it burns like someone put an iron on my face, its always hit or miss for me,id say 85% of the time its tolarable for me.

  • what if you want your skin to peel? what percentage hsould i use? i don't mind a little downtime or red skin, i just want the outer layer of my skin off

  • so if it doesn't peel what is the actual benefit?

  • @hipretty He meant there's not supposed to be any visible peeling of the skin, like huge chunks coming off. It exfoliates by eating away at the dead skin, then you wash it off. So you don't actually see anything coming off, but it does.

  • @Rhoswenify oh thanks for replying I figured it was more like a stronger mask!

  • @hipretty its an intensive exfoliator.

  • @Ladyofdeath777 doesn't an exfoliator remove a layer of skin or skin cells? how is that different than a gentle or light peel.

  • @hipretty There's really no difference in a light peel and an in-office peel is... just different names.

  • @hipretty it exfoliates the skin much more evenly and precisely than home used physical defoliants. for desired result it requires more sessions than aggressive higher strength peels (suitable people who can't afford down time).

  • I need to go into my skin doctor and get a lunch time peel done asap :)

  • Hello dr Schultz ,I have a question.I have a cousing that lives outside the US and she has bad acne scars ,she asked me to get her something,I was thinking of buying a glycolic acid home peel.Do you think its a good idea, if so what cncentration should i get for her?she hasnt used it before she only uses benzol peroxide since she still gets break outs.

  • shalom, dr. schultz!

    thanks for the video
