For those who own Mark Hoppus's bass...

1. is there different models? e.g 2002 model, 2009 model... if there is how can you tell the difference between them?

2. this new bass, when is it available?

1. yes, in the 2002-2006 model the body was made of alder, but then in 2006-to present they switched that to ash making it slighty lighter. Also the pickups were switched around to give more a rounded tone to the d and g strings.

2. Very soon it will be availabe.

@champ1114 when ever i look up or search for this guitar on websites that sells guitar, how come i can only find one model? or do they update the models and don't sell old ones once the new ones are released??? sorry if its confusing...
