  • idk if i just jizzed or shit my pants...

  • two magnets top and bottom with a small battery under that metal cube. when the current from battery hits the cube it makes it spin:)

  • thumbs up if you hate people who just write thumbs up(then a random stupid statement) on every video to get thumbs up?

  • Diamagnetic levitation works with bismuth & LEGO too!

    see; youtube com/watch?v=bwddgcADSdY

  • that is not a perpetual motion...but that will die out slowly because air friction and external magnetism..say due earth's magnetism :)

  • inception

  • great video

I'd really like to know more myself as well.

  • i filed a bug report with god...

  • if you can make a tutorial on how to make this, i will suck your balls

  • closest thing i have ever seen to perpetual motion.

  • I think it has diabeetus?

  • hitler tried to create a gaint version of this

  • The wire is struggling to find a common ground between the positive and negative.

It keeps searching, so the wire keeps turning.

  • did they died?

  • Now set in motion a mass heavy enough to counter the drag caused by collecting coils and you have unlimited energy by pulsing the collected energy back into the rotor?

  • INCEPTION.

  • YOU CAN'T EXPLAIN THIS

    ALIENS

  • AAAAH!! ALIEN INVASION!

  • you're right! this is homo :) nerds :) fucking nerds :)

  • how about that electric moter under the table i hear humming in the back ground

  • Could you imagine the torque this thing can put out? I can see it already, the dodge hemi gets replaced by the dodge homo.

  • well you can't explain that

  • @FunWithMOJ lol i have to say i do dry hump this type of technology

  • Do that in a vacuum. Perpetual motion?

  • @Theshadows99 Nice idea, but I'm pretty sure that'S been done and it won't be a perpetuum mobile.

  • @neverXuploadXvideos even if it is not perpetual i call it energy efficient, what do you think?

  • @petelebu Most definitely.

  • [insert ignorant comment here]

  • basura enseña como se hace

  • i wonder if a bigger scale of this could be used as a perpetual energy source

  • @808bayside no because it had input energy. and that is not perpetual motion or overunity. none of these overunity generators are actually that, because of how the way the second law of thermodynamics is set up, now i'm not saying that they don't make excess energy or anything i'm just saying perpetual motion is impossible because of what it declares. it's like saying you cannot jump without leaveing the ground, this doesn't limit how high you can jump if you are allowed to leave ground though

  • @808bayside condensed version for those with less time.... infinite yes, perpetual no.

  • the first of the ufo's levitacion

  • I don't know what this is and what it could be used for but... good work i guess and i hope you make money out of it ;)

  • If you put this in space ....physics and the law of motion state that this will continuously move ......good god weve invented space/time travel !!!

  • y is this so amazing the government already have made stuff that levitate

  • IT'S A WITCH!!!! BURN!!!

  • Thumbs up if you have no idea how you ended up watching this.

  • i really like this.

  • suplies list?

  • make a collector mechanism for that ...I wonder how fast would it go

  • damn...

  • im somewhat new to physics, so if theoretically he/you put this in a vacuum, would their be no resistance to air therefor would it run forever?

  • @proaerro, No it wouldn't run forever, you're right that in a vacuum there would be no air resistance, but there is still the effect of magnetic breaking to overcome.

  • he is a wiiitttcccchhh!

  • yea, in 1941 they green-screened this and laid it over a fuzzy video using Adobe AfterEffects, then called it an alien and said they had "video proof"!

  • YAR MAGNETS!! GOD DAMMIT!!

  • Dammit aliens do exist!

  • his ally is the force.. and a powerfull ally it is.

  • Ok so when cars will fly like in movie back to the future?

  • This is how UFO technology works

  • Don't u put negative magnet to do that

  • Real and true frictionless motor.

  • haha homo

  • witchcraft

  • watching a commercial = downvote, goodbye

  • @vardarac those commercials are what keep us from having to pay to watch fyi.

  • If you put that in a vacuum, how close to 0 would the friction be?

Do the supporting objects have any slowing effect?

  • So what happens if yo shine laser on it?

    Multikill

  • Putt it on a Vaccum chamber :O

  • Yay physics!

  • tried to flag as witchcraft... not much of THAT on youtube

  • ok now make good use of it

  • Heat!?

  • Infinite energy :D

  • @lalets Nope! he puts in the energy to begin with (in the video) and it spins. It will stop eventually.

  • @lalets

infinate energy?!?!?! it cant even overcome th air friction that eventually slows it down. novel and entertaining but still useless for anything else. read a text book or something dude.

  • @scottoftherock1 zzzzZZZZ

I know... just I was trying to be funny...

  • @lalets

ahh ok then... carry on. it did make me chuckle a little but that was due to presumed ignorance. seems the ignorance was my own. as you were.

  • Don't you need to cool it down by liquid nitrogen or something else?

  • homopolar? lol

mate, do you know what mean homopolar?

Theese 2 wires are both positive or both negative? I don't think so

  • @mastertune What about homopolar magnets?

  • @OnkelPeters Homopolar magnets? You mean magnets having just one pole (S or N)?

  • this video is awesome

  • Have you seen arh' my chance cube...

  • lol. homopolar.

  • yea air res changes speedand therefore the flux changed, EMF is induced... somthing like that

  • HAX!!

  • Neutons first law: An object in motion stays in motion unless acted apawn by another force. then why dident it keep spining?

  • @lildickheads air resistance is a force

  • @lildickheads air have resistance too if it was in space then it would never stop

  • @MRJohnEdgar o rite

  • @MRJohnEdgar

ever heard of solar winds being theoretically used to propel space craft slowly across space. no such thing as an energy free environment.

  • @scottoftherock1 yes they "could" stop it from spining but it would be still be a huge amount of time for this to happen.

  • Man I could really go for a Smor right about now...

  • @CaptCrewSock dang i was thinkin the same thin

  • What is this witchcraft?!?!

  • @ComicalGus

LET'S GET'EM BEFORE HE BURNS OUR WATER SUPPLY AND POISONS OUR CROPS!!!

    QUICKLY EVERYONE...QUICKLY, ASSEMBLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!

  • perpetual motion?

  • shiny :/

  • So... am i in a dream or not?

    INCEPTION

  • homo polar bears

  • anyone else bored?

  • Ok, Nice, Now Start With A Space Ship!

  • a petito mobile !

    NObel price for you .

    gz ^^,

  • You are Magneto from x men ?

  • the answer for never ending fuel O.o?

  • HOW THE FREAK YOU DO OR BUILD SOMETHING LIKE THAT

  • @soucy10 exclude me from that list of "we" lol

its all possible, but more often than not, not probable.

  • cool, what i do with it?

  • @soucy10 agreed. money is a concept technically, it seems to be our taught "value system" that holds us back as a species.

  • Is a UFO!!!!

  • Lol homopolar.

  • all i saw in the name of the video was "homo"

  • now all you need is to harness it.

  • this doesn't make sense

  • EAT THAT GRAVITY!!!

  • I wish I could sit on my ass and fuck with magnets all day...

  • Comment removed

  • i got high seeing this

  • i think i found the magnets that are inturnal .......whoop dee doo

  • The Force is strong with this one...

  • @BigBrotherMateyka indeed

  • Why it's not Perpetum Mobile?

  • @opicakuz there's friction.... so a day it will stop anyway...

  • YOU SHALL BE LYNCHED FOR THIS TYPE OF SORSARY

  • @KennethKeyt SORCERY

  • @KennethKeyt Sorcery*

  • you spin me right round baby right round like a record baby right round round round!

  • @Iamapeanut10 Nice comment.

  • Robot Smores?

  • robot s'mores pfft

  • why is my add about seimens?

  • El mismo sistema de un ovni

  • how can i make one of these

  • @cjbryan277

The same way he did. Look at the thing, the machine isn't really all that complicated. Google dimagnetic and you will probably find out more.

  • @JohnxWaynexGacy It's not. You do have to buy some neodymium magnets because they're pretty strong. Take one, (which I suspect is the lower, disc shaped one beneath the nut) and place it in between two flat magnets, which are wedged in between something, in this case the core of what appears to be a wire bundle, preferably plastic.

Neodymium magnets are potent and brittle, so be careful with them.

  • @cjbryan277 diamagnetic, my fault for the typo.

  • Now put some quicksilver in there instead

    Apply electric current

    ??????????

    Magnetic field engine invented.

  • fake

  • @SuperKingpin95 dude how is it fake?

  • @SuperKingpin95 Are you that guy that goes on every video with just that one word? Are you even real? Are you fake?

  • now heat it up and u can make a magnetic field

  • I'm Mormon.

  • does it go on forever and can yu make a how to video

  • how u make?

  • couldnt you ise the rotation to charge somthing but make it biger n use it to power a tv?

  • @luca20yo ...This would require the system to be more than 100% efficient. 100% to keep it going on its own for eternity (depending if you want to watch all the Smallville episodes), and the rest can be used to drive something else. To my knowledge there is almost no system that has 100% efficiency, let alone more than that. (correct me if I'm wrong).

  • @luca20yo not that i kno of. if you could put some copper coils all round it so it could make a charge, connect 2 wites from the coil to keep it spinning like u did in the beggining. maby...idk. how did you get it to levitate. id like to try somthing like then next time i get sum cash.

  • @luca20yo the coils would produce a magnetic field that opposes the movement of the spinning object, he levitated it through using a diamagnetic material on top and bottom those 2 flat looking things is made of a certain graphite that creates oppositional magnetic force when a magnetic field is put near it. I guess when he applies a current through the floating magnets it just spins, but I doubt it would keep spinning unless the current was applied more frequently.

  • LOOK! UFO!

  • what is this black magic O.o

  • and this... is REAL magic. Scientific Magic, what realy exists.

  • holy shit!

  • two questions...

when you put the wires to it did you excite the em field in the magnet and 2. what types of magnets did you use?

  • Hacks.

  • 2 questions:

1: was this shot on film so as to not disturb the electric field

2: if you put this in a vacuum, would it ever stop spinning?

  • @squigy97 ... in theory, any object in a vacuum should keep it's motion.

In this case, if the magnet doesn't have the electrical impulse to create a polarity in order to spin it wouldn't just move on the first place.

  • very nice

  • I want money and fame. To heck with the planet and everyone on it. Lol

  • Hello i'm jim, and i would like to talk with you. im working on making a magnetic Generator for free energy.

i dont want money or fam nor do i have any or want any.

i just want to make the world bater then it was yesterday, so i ask any of you who wants the same thing lets start working together. and stop looking for the world govrmets to do somthing. as we all know if you don't do it your self it's not geting done. we can do this, all of us. you just have to want it. so what do you say?

  • are you jesus?

  • Are you McGyver?

  • how long will it go on ?

  • wow that was pretty cool

  • it's a floating cube between two graham crackers.... hmm

  • I assume thats a neodymium-iron-boron magnet and a cube of copper in the middle, but what are the 2 slabs on the outside?

  • either this dude gots some shiny magic rocks or he is a wizard

  • Nice paperweight

  • @RausendeFausto weightless paperweight?

  • @pianosidechat the latest technology in paperweights LOL

  • they should use this technology for engines for future cars

  • That's one gay motor. (get it?)

  • explain! :)

  • why waste your time on stupid crap like that

  • bahahaha HOMO

  • That was homo

  • hell if you can do that then how come we don't have UFO's already?

  • yah perpetual motion as long as there is a current running through the two plates positioned at either pole. Perhaps this dude should go back to reading Harry POtter books. BTW....they're using mag-lev all over the world. Thanks for showing us something spectacular

  • homopolar *giggles*

  • OMG WITCH CRAFT !!!!!

    lol

  • Will that be in perpetual motion??? It might slow down due to air resistance...but in space...might go on forever!!!

  • @Serpahim perpetual motion is an impossible concept

  • @jimmayraw i am aware of it...BUT what do u call electrons moving inside an atom? or a satellite in space??? :)

  • @jimmayraw you told you that?????

  • use it to make human's UFO!!
