  • Part 2: I was living in Westminster when the Vietnamese refugees first started showing up in 1975 after the fall of Saigon. I couldn't believe how stupid and bigoted so many whites were towards them. I'm a whitey myself, btw. For example, across the street where I lived on Trask Avenue, a couple of kids threw a rock through the bedroom window of the house lived in by the newly arrived Vietnamese family. Hope things are better now.

  • I enjoyed your video because I have always been impressed with Little Saigon ever since it was developed. I moved to Westminster in 1967, graduated from high school in 1973 and lived in Orange County until 1986. That's right: I'm old! But I remember what the area of Little Saigon looked like before it was developed. It was an ugly run down part of the city, and I was very impressed with how the Vietnamese improved it. I also remember the hostility of many white people towards the Vietnamese

  • Are you in a Highschool Japanese Class? That is not very good camera work but the Japanese was good. I liked how you shouted out "Go Loser" in traffic.
