  • Hey Obama voters: have you dumbfucks been able to accept the fact that you've been duped yet? BTW: I'm not a McCain supporter so please, wise up to your stupid left/right bullshit.

  • Does anybody ever look at history??? Does Vietnam ring a bell? This is not a conventional war. Obama should have asked Katie about sectarian violence before we were there in the first place! Bush lied to go to war. When there was a troop surge in Vietnam, the situation became more and more complicated. Same thing happened with Russians in Afghanistan

  • The surge is very expensive:

it contributes to 46% of the deficit

    - and -

it costs 126 times the money that we get back from Iraq in terms of oil

  • It sends chills down my spine thinking that this man could be commander in chief. He is a rhetoric machine; all talk, absolutely 0 experience to back any of it up. And even when he is dead wrong - like on the surge - his mindset won't let him admit it.

  • Lets be straight. John McCain is third in line in when it came to making a correct decision with the Iraq war. The first person is Obama by voting against going into Iraq. The second is Gen. Eric K. Shinseki who was pushed aside by the Bush admin. when he told how many troops it would take to be effective in Iraq and third is McCain with the troop surg.

  • "Katie, I have no idea what would have happened if we applied my approach" - Barrack Obama

Wow Barrack, that's really reassuring! You don't even know what your policies and decisions are going to accomplish? What an amateur!!!

  • No Obomba...

    A troop surge In Afghanistan?

For how long in the name of war on terror?

Until the Trans-Afghanistan Pipeline (TAP) is complete??... Sounds about right

BS.... bring our brothers and sisters home -- we have no right to use our tax payer money building pipelines for Pakistan a military dictatorship that we cannot trust.

  • He thinks money is more important that the lives of our soldiers. nice.

  • Yes, he doesn't care about the soldiers. He really doesn't think it matters if we win or lose. So rather than saying we need to deal with the reality today, Obama keeps saying I need MoveOns money and the soldiers lives, the treasure we spent, be damned. He considers the loss of American life and the loss of American's bodies and souls irrelevant to the him getting elected, so he would flush those men and women down the toilet of history. No wonder the Germans love him - pacifist at any cost.

  • that ass hole cant even admit hes wrong typical liberal what joke

  • Not only was he wrong, but he's also showing that he can't ADMIT when he's wrong! Is this moron starting to believe his own sycophantic press and think he's infallible? Well, he *has* to, because he is, after all, a man of no substance and no accomplishment. The only thing he can even *pretend* to have is "good judgement", so when clearly his "judgement" was WRONG, there's nothing left but a few vaguely inspirational speeches. His whole campaign dissolves into nothingness. The audacity of hype!

  • This guy is a blithering Moron, how he is this close to the Pres. is unbelievable

  • You neo-con morons- Obama always said he'll keep a small force of US troops in Iraq to maintain a stability-ALWAYS said that. You idiots have no concept of strategy either- if bin Laden and al quaeda get crushed in Afghanistan/Pakistan the problem in Iraq will disappear. The neocon babbling about the over-drawn Surge is a stupid point in terms of overall strategy -whether it succeeds or not Bin Laden is still alive in his hideout in Pakistan and his organization is stronger than ever.

  • You can't make fun of McCain keeping troops in Iraq if Obama has *always* said he would do the same.

You can't crush bin Laden from Afghanistan unless you decide to invade sovereign (nuclear) Pakistan.

If you think Iraq will be *solved* by simply taking out bin Laden (which can't be done without an invasion), then you are the *idiot*.

And a hint, you can always find a quote from Obama supporting any perspective because he always agrees and disagrees with every perspective.

  • board; Obama said he would keep troops in Iraq- but not as a huge army -that's the difference.

You better try and crush bin Laden anywhere he is that you see him- are you kidding me! If the US knew the exact location where Obama is and Pakistan didn't try and get him do you really not believe the US would do whatever to take him out- get real-if Obama says he'd do it you can bet your ass that the US military/McCain would do it to without pause.

  • and board;

What don't you get that killing bin Laden wrecks the al quaeda command structure. When he's gone the threat of them in Iraq is over- you have no concept of simple logisc or strategy.

Had we finished off the Taliban in Afghanistan instead of Bush/neocon strategic blunder in shifting to Iraq on a lie Al quaeda would not have resurged themselves when they were near to being crushed. You simple minded neocons have no analytical skills and our troops and their families suffer for it.

  • All intelligence agencies say al Quaeda is fully functional now -because their distraction fighters in Iraq fooled the baffoon Bush into throwing his weight there instead of Afghanistan. Al quaeda are in more places beside Iraq too- which you neocon idiots don't understand-they're in Syria, SE Asia and N.Africa -if you think they are only in Iraq you are a lemon.

  • sliz, I can already tell you are the type of person that just likes to be contradictary. If breaking news today was "Osama killed", you'd be posting how the *neocons* just don't get it.

Osama went to Pakistan 2001. Iraq began 2003. Stop painting it like they happened simultaneously. The USA has to tread lightly with Pakistan simply because of the nuclear arsenal. Why can't you grasp this simple fact?

  • lol- you're kidding yourself if you don't think the USA intelligence got 100% info on where Bitch Laden was in Pakistan that that they would take out enemy #1 if Pakistan showed any hesitation to get him. No careful treading about it. Keep deluding yourself if you like. I'm not intterested in if the neocons get it or not -they're lifetime morons who will never want peace and stability in the world -and are too cowardly to fight in the wars they create.

  • Why not just say *110%* or something just as irrelevant? Yes, and if I'd be crazy not to push the single button that creates world peace.

Please explain what would be 100% confirmation of Osama's location would happen.

You have taken the reality from roaming a difficult terrain and hostile region to pin point a single individual and redefined it with the fantasy of 100% verification of not only location but time.

    *You* must be kidding yourself.

  • board- what explaination do you need 100%. I'm not talking a situation in Iraq war where sadam was located ans US made a bomb strike 4 hours later killing 25 civilians -Sadam had left by then. So 100% I mean Intel.Operatives have Bitch Laden in their sites up until they laser dot him for a bomb strike. 100%.... what does 110% mean!

  • Ok, a perfect intel strike that doesn't exist in reality. And Obama sending 2 brigades from Iraq to Afghanistan makes this possible how? Obama doesn't even know that there are different languages through out the Middle East.

You remind me of somebody at an office meeting saying "we want to increase profits", with nothing more to add. Like somebody at the meeting is going to respond "You mean the goal is to make money, not lose it? Well, this changes everything."

  • No perfect intel strikes you say!!! How do you think top Al quaeda leaders were being bumped off in Iraq Afghanistan and Pakistan! Of course there is perfect- those dead al Quaeda leaders are proof! He knows who's fighting who in Iraq unlike McCain who needs Liebermann at his side to correct his lack of knowledge in statements he makes about combatants in the area. You remind me of someone not saying much of anything and unable to analyze scenarios through facts.

  • what does intel operations have to do with military operations!!! they are two separate things. Intel acts clandestinely and share info amongst various global agencies-big difference! Military ops in Afghanistan would at best crush the Talibans own 'Surge'+ strangle there reign of terror on the population+reduce the number of hideouts the Taliban controlled areas offer al quaeda fighters+also destroy the money taliban get from growing heroin for sales they convert to fund war+terror operations

  • slizzler, "neocon-morons-babbling-idiots-stupid-nconcept...." more ridiculous empty words, you have no substance, kinda like your buddy obama. give us a reasonable, understandable arguement instead of pelosi-reid-obama babble. yeah, let's charge into pakistan, i'm sure that will work. save your strategy for "go fish". you have no business calling others "idiot"

  • you're one of the twenty percent of Americans who still supports Bush policies I take it..... it shows.

  • slizzler i gotta say again, you got no biz calling other folks idiots, gimme some substance here, name-calling ain't hackin it

  • what a fucking idiot. obama, drop out. stop making this country look so foolish

  • As a matter of fact, not only does he explain his position on the troop surge perfectly, but also he takes the opportunity to point out area where our attention SHOULD be more focused rather than getting the quick fix in Iraq by flooding the country with troops. The level of violence will rise again as soon as we start to pull our troops out, unless the Iraq government is put under pressure to take control of the situation. Thank god this man is going to be our next president!

  • When you walk up on a homicide you don't stop to point out somebody who's jaywalking.

If we had someone who values diplomacy as much as Obama in office for the last eight years we wouldn't have been in this awful mess in the first place. Let's not forget that its the Bush/McCain/Cheney/Rumsfeld doctrine that has run the country into the ground.

  • This country's Media is so used to having horrible leadership, that they don't know how to react when someone is sweeping the world with hope and optimism for the future.

Even Katie Curic is a pawn to the right wing extremist led Media as you see in this interview with Obama. Far be it for Katie to be preceived as weak.

  • so, if i am white and i question obama - i am a racist? if i am black and vote for obama because he's black - i am not?

bottom line - if you don't question Obama or his dual opinions - you are an idiot.

listen to him, he doesn't flip flop - he has two positions on every issue. god help us if he gets elected.

  • HAHAHA "i have no idea what would have happened had we used my approach" HAHAHAHA

  • Couric is clearly a racist. Asking the same question over and over to try and trip up a black man.

  • Can't you folks tell irony when you read it. har.

  • Nobody seeing this can have any confidence in Obama.

  • man is so slick but ignorant. he tried to take empahises off the success because he is a legend in his own mind...and his supporters.

he has foot in mouth disease..he got it from wright and gave it to michelle....mmm...they both have been silent lately...maybe preparing for surgery to have their feet removed from their mouths.

  • The more he opens his mouth, the more he comes off as a moron.

  • The Gereral and the Joint Chief are the facts

  • She's treating him like he's not answering the question, but he IS.

  • Her first question was if the General said nit to pull out, he siad he would
