I really like the fact they don't mess with the song too much. Don't get me wrong, there are some really great remixes that take the original and make it into some thing really awesome, but every now and then you want to hear something that stays true to the original and gives you more. That's what I was looking for and am glad I found it with this song!!
I actually was a Razormaid subsciber only due to fact they were more inclined to do remixes of the "New Wave" genre of the 80's. This song was a typical Nile Rodgers production, classy and "chic" drum drivened song that only he can make his signature sound.
Much as I love most of the Razormaid remixes, I have to say that some of them (including this one) sound exactly like the original version. What's the difference between the extended mix of this song and this remix? As far as I can tell, this one is only about 20 or 25 seconds longer, and that's it. Still, I like it and that's how I've rated it.
Helluvalot better than the Offer Nissim Edit and Club Bolly versions because those two deleted the 2 things that make this a great song: the horns and Nile Rodgers' guitar.
