Do you have a college or community college nearby? Sometimes there will be community education classes available. It is very rewarding to work with clay, go for it!

Check your local community community college to see what kind of art programs they have available.

Also, check with your local pottery supplies store, they often have workshops and classes available for people are just getting started.

@CalobTv Very true! You can also often find pottery co-ops or art programs through your local park and recreation programs.

@SaintLiam78 Look for courses in your area, and take it very slowly, don't have expectations of making the perfect item in the first class. You will find quickly if this is for you or not.
