I have a problem. I have another model, but anyways, sometimes the download speed from one device to another is 5 mb and the upload is 100 mb or opposite. is it an error or is it the power saver function or something? how do i fix it? got the numbers from the cockpit.
@craigjaggs you can split it but thats my current issue do i buy a £5 splitter an lose speed or well spend a extra £60 and keep the speed i currently have 2 av 200 easy (white) and want to connect it to my old 85 one ( blue) but yeah you can get a ethernet splitter
Don't bother ringing Customer Technical Services for Devolo unless you want to spend all day on the phone waiting whilst paying per minute for the call. A good way of making money.
@dazz4590 diffrent power group. in my house every 2 or 3 rooms have there own fuse. the washingmachine and dryer do to. so do the wallsockets in the barn. bud they all com to getter in the fusecloset (is that how you translate it?).
do i have to have (<---:D) a router for using this devolo thing that sends wlan ?? or do i just have to put it in any jack and then it sends w-lan???i need wlan for my ipod touch so please help !!!!:D
do i have to have (<---:D) an router or do i just have to put the wirelles adapter in the jack ?? and then i can use internet with my ipod touch ???:D please help i can´t find something
@gammla6 You need a router/modem to connect to the internet. Then you just connect one of these dLan to the router. and the other in a room you want internet. However you can't get internet on your iPod Touch this way, the iPod Touch only connects through WiFi which this is not
Damn things wiped out my neighbour's radio reception....Ofcom told me to use a direct rj45 conenction from hub to pc. That worked faster and much better, and cost a couple of quid. Why didn't I do that in the first place?
@skaterwouter1 No. It causes terrible interference to radio reception too. This might not matter to you if you don't listen to radio, but anyone within half a mile trying to listen to short wave radio is going to have big problems. They screech like hell and jam everything. Look up 'bt vision interference'. There's a legal challenge coming up soon, to get these things banned. Wifi works great, but you can save a lot of money by just using a simple, tried and trusted wired network connection.

do you have to have 2? or can you just have one and plug it in away from your router?
MrKyle080906 6 months ago
@MrKyle080906 Yes you need 2. It doesn't create an open wireless network or use another one.

@dazz4590 ok thanks

kiddy1992 1 year ago
@kiddy1992 What do you mean different group? If its the same dLan kit then it will work. Try it.

kiddy1992 1 year ago
@kiddy1992 They don't go via the power, they travel via radio waves 2.4ghz. So they'll work.
dazz4590 1 year ago
@dazz4590 so why you cant plug it in an extension if its wireless. i'm pretty sure it goes trough the power lines

is its better than standard wireless LAN?

@skaterwouter1 Its a more closed network potentially but it depends.

Hey. Good video.
I got one question: I play games online if I buy that device will my internet speed change??
I download things throw torrent and my max speed is - 9MB Down. / 1MB Upload. will my speeds change???
Aguinaldo06 2 years ago
No the speeds shouldn't change as the speed the dLan transmits is well above these.
dazz4590 2 years ago
@Aguinaldo06 Some of these adapters are known to affect DSL speeds, as well as interefring with radio reception.
