The most popular celebrities and even most popular supermodels are seen as bombshells and flaunt long and beautiful hair. I guess that when you see media showing women with long hair as if it was a bad thing, it's maybe because their long hair is not looking good or well taken care of. Hair must be healthy, glossy and have movement and body, maybe a little waves and curls... but long is always seen as prettier.

Long hair is always beautiful regardless of length. In a perfect world, every woman would wear their hair butt length or longer. Butt length is my idea hair length, as is knee length and ankle length. Shoulder length is just okay. Conventional wisdom teaches that short hair is easier to care for, but that is not really the case. Butt length hair is popular in China and India.

damn im a guy and i have long hair (not that long) but pretty long enough and im starting to go bald in some places but i would really like my hair to be that thick and long since ive been saving it for around 10 years and it can never be like that. Its probably about genetics or something or maybe because im a man i cant get it like that. i wish mine was thicker. I am european and maybe we dont have the same strong hair as other people in other parts of the world.

Once you figure out the products and routine that work for you, then long hair should be easier to care for than short hair. For those who think long hair is more difficult to care for, you may have used products and haircare routine that do not work for you.

Having long hair is not very fun. It is hot, uncomfortable, you can't get it out of the way, it hardly ever looks nice unless you put like an hour of work into it, and it is HARD to take care of. But I have long hair anyway :P
