  • i was asked the other day........."then who is your god?"

my reply......."why do you need a god?"

the response "for beauty and love"

simple answer of mine "you are looking in the wrong places!"

  • 6:14 "Yeah ok, what's the point" lol

  • @Titania1 the sad part is he was not joking he had no clue.

  • actually thought does have weight. It's a REALLY small amount though. Thought takes energy and that energy does technically produce a small (practically immeasurable) amount of gravity.

  • LOL it would render this machine useless! LAWL

  • When was this press conference and can we get a link to it?

  • major LULZ at 5:48 to 6:15

  • wow humans have a LONG way to evolve...

  • lol. a journalist would never have imagined going anywhere looking for answers! lol

  • Hi all, yup...that is me at 2:22 :) Thank you to ALL who have helped on this Press conference and the Australian TV showing it.

"You can leave any time"? Sure. I thought that was true, until I was chased all the way across the country and the Tampa Police had to escort me out of the Tampa Airport at 1:45 in the Morning. Scientologists were there, screaming at me. They've continued to write thousands of lies about myself, and others who have left. Much love, Tory/Magoo

  • PS: Nancy is striving to be God? Anne Archer (Tommy Davis' Mom) says "Wouldn't it be wonderful if we all treated each other with respect, and love?" Please stop the hypocrisies. If you honestly lived that way, the LEAST you would do is come hear the truth about myself and others who your "church" has declared "Suppressive". Truth is, NONE of these people talking about "Happiness" will take responsibility for the abuses their "church" does, daily. TLC

  • Thanks Tory. I have been a subscriber of yours for quite a while now. Keep up the fight - there are plenty of us beside you.

  • @ 2:22

lol, that is youtube user "ToryMagoo44"

She is very outspoken about Scientology.

  • I would say so. I am subscribed to her and should have noticed that.

  • "the antithesis of a religious leader"

I would say he is the model of a religious leader. :P

How is this the shit this guy spews any different from Pat Robertson, the Pope, or David Koresh?

  • Scientology are mindless cattle with checkbooks. "Oh, just shut up and move the ashtray already."

  • 5:45

Wow, that was some serious ownage.

"Supposing thoughts don't have a weight or mass, that would render this machine useless."

    "Uhm...yeah. Ok. what's the point?"

Thick headed nonce. I think the reporter did a great job.

  • thanx for posting america has totally crappy tv.

  • Did you catch that @ 7:39? Not, "If they don't want to donate they don't have to." (like most religions) NO!! He said "If they don't want to donate THEY CAN LEAVE". They just want your money OBV.

  • tory christman at 2:22!!

  • "if thoughts don't have a mass, then this machine would be useless" looooolzz

  • Mormons, Christians, Muslims, Scientologists, Hindus, etc, all constructs of Man, all based on bullshit and faith in fairytales. They have so much in common, fear to control their sheep and brainwashing to keep them unquestioning the stance. So glad I escaped the herd of delusionals over 40 yrs ago and so glad I am free of the fear and look forward to my Sunday morning sleep.

  • @saxmanchiro : Amen!

  • @Nagneto You mean, rAmen.

"Nowhere am I so desperately needed as among a shipload of illogical humans."- Spock

  • @saxmanchiro so glad to hear you made it out of religion fairyland full of lies. I am also happy I was raised by religious people that thought I should make up my own mind on the idea of God and if I decided to follow a god I would be able to pick a religion that reflected my belief in that God. I looked into many religions but always came back to the idea of a God was silly. I am an Atheist.

    Cheers Christine

  • @christinepeace I was 10 when the silliness became apparent. Raised RC, I was totally bored with the ritualistic Sunday mass, lies from clergy(ie.-not Catholic, going to Hell) and violence as well from Nuns and Priests within the school system. I put god up there with the Easter bunny, Mother Goose, Tooth Fairy, Leprechauns, Unicorns, and any other mythical creature made up by the adults.

  • LOL at the shot of him taking notes!

  • Scientology = Horse-sh!t.

Subscribe to Scientology's ideology, and you render yourself an idiot, as far as I'm concerned.

    'A dangerous cult, indeed.

  • Wackos, the lot of them.

  • "Supposing thoughts don't have a weight or mass, that would render this machine useless."

    "Uhm...yeah. Ok. what's the point?"

Thick headed nonce. I think the reporter did a great job.

  • @lyvvie

The machine does work... as a lie detector... and all sessions are recorded... and they don't hesitate to use what you have said to smear you if you even think of leaving.

  • Funny how no mainstream journalist would ever do a piece like this on Islam or Christianity. Granted, I think its perfectly fine to question Scientology with the intent to make it look rediculous, as was done in this video. The problem is you will only ever see it done to Scientology. All major religions make absurd and unsubstantiated claims. They all abuse power. They all bring in tons of cash. They all smear their detractors.

  • Exactly what I was thinking, Great comment! I had a bitter sweet reaction to this video; Its great that Scientology is being exposed for what it is but would this kind of segment ever be done about Islam, Christianity, Mormonism or any other mainstream cult. I dont think so.

  • The questions asked by the reporter in this segment, about whether the machine that measures thoughts actually works is a valid one. Why don't reporters such as this one ask the same skeptical questions of Christianity or Islam - each of which makes spurious claims with no basis in reality? Why the inconsistency?

  • I can't believe the journalist actually asked such an asinine question of the lady, when he said that the celebrities he has interviewed don't have bad experiences with Scientologists. Of course they don't, you idiot! Celebrities have too much clout and way to much influence on societal opinion, because they have such a large forum to speak to a lot of people. Hence, the people that control the church of Scientology will treat them especially well.

  • Why do all the scientologists' eyes look dead?

  • Scientology sickens me.

  • wheres the loony bin lol. The more i hear about scientology, the crazier it becomes to my understanding. Thanks for showing.

  • oh man, it made me so happy when he challenged him on the 'thoughts have weight' BS

  • oh my god 6:10 "...that would render this machine useless"

"Uh, yeah. ok. What's the point?"

  • omg look at that Miscavige fag's hair....he looks like vanilla ice at 3:35. I don't know about you, but I think I'd rather have a frail old man as a leader of a religion (like a pope) than this clear american psycho style slimeball. not that the pope is any good, but at least a little less creepy/shifty.

  • The guy who narrates this show and is interviewing these people is sharp as a tack. I loved how he stumped the shit out of that guy at the parking lot, and here he is getting another owning headlock in with this douchebag representative about how the hell the e-meter is a joke. Fuckin hell. I wish we had more shows like this. It is a little sensationalist but still well done.

  • That guy said it is strange for a religious leader to act agressively? WTF.... All major religions around today were founded upon agression and murder..... Where has this guy been?

  • "Supposing that thought doesn't have a weight or a mass, that would render this machine useless?"

    "Ok, what's the point?"

    Facepalm in 3.....2......1.....

"I don't expect a religious leader to physically assualt and threaten the way that man does, he is the antithesis of a religious leader."

    No, not really.

  • scarry cult

  • 5:50 classic skeptic believer moment

  • My Mother was diagnosed with cancer and Scientology convinced both my parents that, not only they could cure me of being transgender, but could cure my mother, if she was to undertake the NED for OT's (higher levels they talked about) at the Sea Org in Florida (what it was called in the 80')

When the family was over $¼M in debt and mum was at OT5 (Open Thetan level 5 - max 8) she was given 3 mnths to live a was advised to take the flight home b4 she was too weak to do so.

  • ...

Needless to say when my mother passed away in 86' - my father was bankrupt, the family split apart (the entire family, meaning from Grandad and the 7 bros & sis's and the theatre sized family) and I am still transgender ;)

I have been battleing with Dad to come forward for over a decade - my relationship with Dad is strained at best.

  • After he was excommunicated from the church for asking for the money he had invested into them (eg fwd payment's for mums OT training all paid in adv upto OT8 - in which we needed to fly mum home) - He still had the audacity to say to me 4 years ago, when I told him I was finally transitioning to female, that if he had any money, he would book 'auditing' sessions at Scientology to help me allow it to pass.

  • ...

I would stand up and say my accounts which would shock you all in what they do with indocrination techniques, But my father has all the data needed to prove what these people did - he was a minister for them, and still acts as if he is one.

    Peace out people

  • I have no idea what to say to this. The depths of some peoples delusions can be great. I am sorry to hear what happened, and hope you have the courage to share your story and stand up to these monsters.

  • I do 'egg'

    Trust me, I do

  • A 1 billion year contract?

Well now, that's just fuckin pointless...

  • All I see is a profit scheme. Disgusting.

"Who ever said religion should be free"

  • I'm amazed that TT did a decent report. :D

  • It's a miracle.

  • Yes, me too.. and the reporter actually asked some decent questions. It's just a shame that this issue is being chased up by a trashy TV show... but hey, credit where it's due.

  • "All of these ex-members are liars" Yeah, like all those kids lied about being molested by priests for years, and how long did it take before the lies and deceit of the catholic church were uncovered.

  • I think the senator recognizes the taking of people's money under false pretenses and the promise of a better world, with a dose of threats, very easily.

If I am not mistaken he will see that everywhere he looks. It's called projection.

  • Thank God for Skepticism!

  • Slappy Mscavige.

  • "Suppose that thought doesn't have a weight or a mass; then that would render this machine useless "

"Uh, yeah, ok, what's the point?"

*Laughing hard* Stop. You're killing me.

  • That... was awesome.

  • And all the while as these hollywood big shots are giving untold sums of money to this cult there are millions of children starving all over the world. This sickens me beyond belief.

  • @BeekersSqueakers

    Brilliant though, gotta admire it.

    1) Come up with an idea to make celebrities feel better than normal people

    2) Get them to give you money for it

  • Or at least make the celebrities think they feel better than normal people.

  • The problem isn't that the people donating aren't "happy" (it's easy to be happy when you're brainwashed...) The problem is that, at least in the U.S. the Church is a tax-exempt business organization. That's a big problem, and very relevant to whether the Scientology organization is spending its money wisely...

  • I dunno...how many disgruntled ex-Catholics are there?

As an atheist I wish all of them would just go away, However the silly government has given Scientology the status of a religion now it has to real problem on its hands. At least here in the USA because how do you make a religion in the USA illegal with the separation of church and state?

  • 2:22

    TORY :D

  • thoughts have mass? get fucked.

  • I love his response: "And what's your point"

The point is that if thoughts do not have weight, your entire religion is based on a lie.

  • not only that but if you make a claim like that it probably should be a big deal that, no, they don't have weight.. they are in fact intangible.

might as well start saying snakes can talk.

  • oh my what a stupidity that is. Though has mass? No, the support for the process has mass. Duh.

  • "neither me and my husband had any money.."

*Probably* because you gave it all to Scientology?
