We are on Yucatan right now. We stumbled upon a small area along the beach where we found many pumice stones. One was quiet large and almost a cube in shape with its sides measuring 7 by 6 by 7 inches. Thank you very much for the information about pumice stones. Good “pumice” fortunes to you!
Very interesting, I live here in Fresno, CA (USA) and i was fishing at a lake nearby and i see hundreds of these stones floating in the water. Seems pretty weird to me because there are no volcanoes and the rocks i see afloat looks nothing like those rocks you're holding.
