I love how one sided people are. The brits kill lots of Jews and the Jews fight back and even WARN the KD Hotel and somehow, the Jews become terrorists. I lol @ you people.
When you mention the crusades, you should also remember that islamic jihadists had attacked Constantinople in Christian Byzantium and Adalusia in Christian Spain centuries before any Crusade. Christian pilgrims had been attacked for hundreds of years on their way to Jerusalem. The slaughter was not started by Christians. As I said, it was begun CENTURIES before by muslims. So get the chronology right please.
@willwak we are the victims, they are the victims?? You make me laugh. Tit for Tat goes back to the beginning of time and the first cave man that stole something or a female from another. Come on dude!
If a car is turned around at a check point, it isn't the check point's fault if the car goes on to crash somewhere. The British allowed as much immigration to Palestine as Arab opinion would allow. They were trying to keep the peace. They had Arabs screaming for allowing the foreigners in and scummy jewish terrorists murdering soldiers who had liberated them from death camps only a few months earlier. One of them became prime minister. Menachim Begin. A rat.
"I was not involved in the September 11 attacks in the United States nor did I have knowledge of the attacks. There exists a government within a government within the United States .. The American system is totally in control of the Jews, whose first priority is Israel, not the United States."
someone else`s? so the land where the jewish people was created and were they lived for thousands of years even after the diaspora, and they always refered to as homeland was actually never theirs?
besides u didnt answer the original question: DO THE JEWISH PEOPLE HAVE THE RIGHT TO SELF DETERMINATION YES OR NO?
@stopgenocideingaznow Wait a second. The UN divided the land into two states. A Jewish State and an Arab State. The Arabs rejected this and went to war to exterminate the Jewish State. The Jews won. The Arabs then launched a war of terror against the Jewish State that they continue to wage until this day! The big Arab countries didn't want a "Palestinian State" Egypt occupied the Gaza Strip and the Jordanians occupied the West Bank. It was only until 80's and 90's did they withdraw.
@ADR10723: The UN wrongly divided Palestine, they gave 43% to Arabs and 56% to the Jews. Even though at that time Arabs owned most of the land and the Jews owned barley any. Who wouldn't reject it? You are a dumbass. Jordanian occupied the West Bank and East Jerusalem from 1948-1967. Egyptians occupied the Gaza Strip in 1948 then Israel occupied Gaza in 1967.
@tupacqq The land considerations were made because the Jews were to allow the native Arab populations to reside in a Jewish State while the Arabs insisted that no Jews be allowed to live on on inch of "Arab Land".
Anyway, we are debating something 60 years old. Its time that Abbas meets Netenyahu for face to face discussions to finally end this conflict.
@ADR10723, Your point? The lands was wrongly divided by the UN. Arabs owned up to 90% of the land. The Arabs and the Jews got along well before some sneaky European Jews wanted to take the land for themselves. They should thank the Arab hospitality because all over Europe Jews were getting discriminated against.
@tupacqq Arab hospitality?? What are you talking about?? When Israel was created the Arab states expelled their already persecuted Jews from their countries. Over 700,000 Jews were expelled from "Arab" lands. Jews were considered Dhimmi in those lands and were forced to pay special taxes as well they were prohibited from government, law, educational and medical jobs.
@ADR10723, *Facepalm* First, I'm talking about the hospitality that the Arabs gave the Jews when the Jews were coming in bunches from Europe to Palestine. Second, I'm talking about the Arabs in Palestine not in other countries. Third, Palestine had a HUGE Arab Christian community back then so you can't use the Dhimmi excuse.
@stopgenocideingaznow ,,Why did the arabs stay in a land who did not belongs to them? Why they came from egypt or syria or other arabs countrys to stay in a country who never belogs to them? Why did the arabs turn down the Salomon temple to build in the most holly place from another religion a mosque? Why are the arabs so selfish that do not accept a jewish state in just the 20% of palestine when they keept the 80% OF THE ORIGINAL JEWISH LAND?WHAT A GANG OF SHAME!!!!
Irgun resorted to 'terrorism' only after the Jewish people had went through thousands of years of state terrorism in Europe. Violence is never a good thing and should be avoided whenever possible, but it has to be viewed in context. When you are fighting for the freedom, even for the survival of your people, it is sometimes justified to resort to "physical force"
So on the whole, Irgun seems to have been a "necessary evil"
What were the historical context of those organizations, what were their goals and what were the tactics they resorted to? I basically answered those questions for the Irgun... so if you want to use my own argument against me you should at least provide the same sort of basic information.
The PLO, the IRA, ETA and the Viet Cong are completely separate organizations that have very little in common; the conflicts of which they were a part are completely unrelated and radically different, both from each other and from the Israeli war of independence. So you're going to have to explain your comparison a bit more...
@TheTollundWoman "When you are fighting for the freedom, even for the survival of your people, it is sometimes justified to resort to "physical force"" that's from the PLO charta

just ask these simple question:
do the jewish people, like every other single people in the world, have the right to self- determination and therefore, the right to a jewish state?
alanch90 2 years ago
well, the fact that they self-determined in someone else's land is the point.

They all want independence from foreign rule, or to remain as part of a union such as the UDF which is the Ulster Defence Force.
