I once fished somebody's key out of the river, but I couldn't find them so out of curiosity, I kept the key. The next day when that neighbor wasn't home, I took the key to their house to see if I could get in. Sadly, it failed :P

@LaughableMedia1 Haha same thing happened to me... except i kept the key on purpose :P (BTW DONT KEEP THE KEY IN YOUR HOUSE. NEGATIVE LIKE 2000 HRA POINTS. KEEP IT IN STORAGE) So then another character lost their key, so i gave that character the key i found earlier but they said it wasn't their key.. Damn smart animal crossing creators

just keep the key forever and use it to open to your friend's house and you can steal stuff in the house and you have a bff is sleeping keep it the stuff you steal.And keep fishing all the time to find the key!

eeek, yeah it took me about seven times to get it, But I am like so glad that I tried it cause I just randomly rished near a waterfall and i got a... STRINGFISH! which is extremely rare, at nooks if u sell it he would give you 20,000 bells for it! when normal fish only cost 300!

Maybe its in the River XD. The first time I ever did it, I was like looking EVERYWHERE. Except the river and I just gave up! Then i saw some videos on youtube and Im like Oh great! THATS WHERE IT WAS! But Rocco already found his key... ( You may see me talking to Rocco about his lost key in a video i have) Well Good Luck!
