@staysopositive I agree! I always loved the original Supremes! Flo was my fav. And, Flo could sing. But, Mary is by far a better singer; and, even better than Ms. Ross. What a voice Ms. Wilson has.....and, what an entertainer! She is not only a Supreme, but the Quintessential Supreme! Diana is all cutesy.....but, Mary....she's satin 'n' silk!

It is really tragic that just because she doesn't sound like Diana Ross some people keep repeating that she couldn't sing. Miss Wilson has a great voice and on top of that she is one of the most beautiful women that ever stood on a stage.

YOU know what I'm sayin'. :-) AND there would be no USE for HER because of that! Mary is a strong individual and it TOOK that to MAKE "SUPREMES'! SHE is STILL "THAT" SPECIAL ingredient that MADE them besides the lead voice. And it SHOWS visibly, audibly and characteristically! Looking FABULOUS and sounding even better. I have seen Mary perform this song many times - and it is almost a bio about herself - this is perhaps why she sings it so well. Writer Tiny Turner says he wishes she would put it back in her current sensational new show.

It is obvious you missed the irony of the song as performed by Mary.  They purposely changed some of the lyrics to reflect different aspects of Ms. Wilson's life. If you know the original song you would have picked up on this immediately. If you knew anything about Mary Wilson's life, you would cry BRAVO over this performance!!!
