  • Marty is so damn genious! Marty for the president of US!

  • That solo is unbelievably badass.

  • i can't find tabs for it =(

  • SOULFUL!!!

    just it i can say

  • I wish he would regroup with Megadeth and Mustaine!!!!! RUST IN PEACE!!!!!!

  • HAIL TO MARTY!

    FALCON KICK!

  • FALCON PUNCH!!!

  • kool video

    MOAR!!! XD

  • in my opinion if jason becker didnt get lou gheriggs(dont know how to spell it)he would still be in cacophony

  • by he i mean marty friedman obviously

  • I'm sure you're right, cos they made an awesome duo.

  • FALCON PUNCH!!

  • FALCON KICK!!:P

  • This song has fucking captain falcon written all over it ;)

    Also this song fucking owns.

  • heck if hes going back to metal he might as well go back to megadeth!

  • He's more comfortable and happier living in Japan and being independent. Mustaine is a real dick, too, which contrasts greatly with Marty's much kinder and more sociable personality.

  • Mustaine really isn't such a dick as people make him out. I've talked to Dave on the phone a couple times and he's always been really cool with me. People like to piss off Mustaine, that's why he fights so much, that's the only reason he's the way he is. Besides how would you like what happened to him to happen to you?

  • I'm sure that his personality ruffles some peoples feathers as well. How he just speaks what is on his mind and how rough around the edges he can be most likely makes people uncomfortable around him, causing them to give him shit which in turn causes him to react negatively and cause all the drama lol

  • Well, it's really the way that they interpret his reaction that makes the difference. For instance: personally I think he had a right to be pissed off at Metallica. He told them not to use his material and they did anyways.

  • OMG! How do you get a hold of him he is my idol!!! Can you tell me how!!=D

  • so much for getting tired of metal

  • I think it was just an excuse to leave Megadeth without people thinking that there were any hard feelings, which, knowing Mustaine, there probably were.

  • Megadeth is Mustaine's band and always has been.i think marty thinks himself as virtuso like Paul Gilbert,Vai etc and wanted the same type of career, i always thought he wanted to be in the spotlight himself

  • That's the thing -- Marty IS a virtuoso. My belief, however, is that he wanted a new lifestyle away from the whole traditional heavy metal. He's obviously shown himself to be more inclined to instrumental music, playing many different types of music (metal included, but not exclusive), and has immersed himself so deeply into Japanese culture that it's become a part of who he is. He's come a LONG way since Megadeth.

  • he may have come a long way but i wonder if it is the right way. thats my view after listening to his latest album 'future perfect'

  • Whether or not you like it, you have absolutely no right to say which way is the right way. None whatsoever. He's clearly doing great for himself. Whether or not it's your cup of tea doesn't mean it's bad. Every way in music is the right way. That's what music is all about.

  • 2.22 solo is bit cacophonyish:D

  • a little bit :P

  • I can hear the little bits of Rust in Peace in there, Cacophony, Jason Becker..

    That was amazing Marty.

  • yes hes going metal again

  • marty is top class baby...
