Honestly, Sonny and Brenda aren't the love of each other lives. Brenda is someone who Sonny loved a lot a long time ago but that is it. If she was the love of his life Sonny wouldn't have chose Carly over her every time the opportunity presented itself. It doesn't matter if Carly & Sonny are together or not. Carly comes first in Sonny's life - always. Carly & Sonny are the love of each other lives, In my opinion.

Carly's only upset about the engagement because her life is falling apart. The same can be said about Brenda thinking the whole world revolves around her. Also, Yes it is partially Carly's fault about what happened to Jax but the difference between Brenda and Carly is this. Carly owns who she is and that she is very insecure of Brenda. Brenda cries everytime Carly's name is brought up. Brenda tries to hide her insecurities behind acting like Carly is a bad mother and unstable when Brenda knows NOTHING about motherhood and Carly does.

@mzcompletelycareless Maybe she didn't know what she was doing but Carly has ALWAYS tried to be a good mother and in her eyes that having their fathers in their lives..and I happen to agree. The child needs a mother and a father if they can have them both and in Carly's case, they can. I don't agree that Carly is just learning. She's not perfect but she owns up her mistakes so she can learn from them. Carly is a good mother. Jax is not being a good father though and neither is Sonny right now..
