  • You forgott to actually "squat" to brake the leg. Kenpo techinques teach principles that can be applied to real world situations, it doesn´t offer universal solutions tho. This is a great technique to understand how to finish a foe from a standing position.

  • actually that lift on the knee is a viable technique. although most would rotate the person, ala dance of death, stomp the groin with the left foot and walk away, or roll into a kneebar. but the technique as written... as the lolcats say OSRSLY!?

  • this technique is retarded. looks good but to bend over and to pull the leg. your asking to be choked. i dont know what ed parker was thinking. Mr. Sulivian said it good what worked for Ed Parker worked only for ed parker.

  • @kemponinja true at least we got alot of ideas from other techniques for this tipe of grab, and not only this technique there are others that dont work for me also, what i do is adapt the tecniques so that i feel good with it

  • Very Funny Quan. Not Sarcatistic a all LOL.

    Chris Snell from Canada

  • I detect a bit of sarcasm here. This may work in the "kempo world" but if you tried that in the real world on a wrestler without getting your hips out, you would eat a salto or back trip hard.

  • That's what he was saying. There's not very many Kenpoists who would not tell you there are a few out-of-this-world techniques in the system. They're hypothetical and not intended to be recalled perfectly in a real-life situation. The techniques exist so that the student can learn how to put a variety of blocks and strikes together enough that they can react in a real attack without thinking about it.

  • exactly all the techniques are ideas, that teach u diferent combinations to that in a real fight u can grab a little bit of each tecnique and u wont even notice it.
