alright i got this laptop about 5 months ago and it works very well but since battlefield 3 comes out next fall i wanna play it on pc =D and i was wondering if i could get a core i7 processor and a new graphics card or if it just wouldnt work thanks!

whats the diff between this and the g60jx? i have the jx

Jx has intel i5 or i7 core and it's a little bit better than core 2 dúo.

it has GTS 360m and it's not as good as GTX 260m of Vx model is.

if you have i5 both performance Vx and Jx is really closer to be equal.

unless you have JX-A1 you may have better machine if not it is the same thing, better processor, worts graphic card.

hey did u ever have to update ur bios? i recently also got a g60vx with a gtx260m in it and whenever i try to play league of legends, i always get low fps. as in 20 or below. i bought mine refurbed but i dont think thats the problem. that game isnt even that graphic intensive or w/e. i even got a laptop cooler but that doesnt seem to solve the problem.

@sman0333 right click on the battery icon, then click the hybrid thing at top, then make sure its on high performance...then look at bottom right, u'll see turbo mode....after u pick how much, click save

L4D2 is mind-blowing! I adore playing online along with our mates. All of us dled the free of charge release and play on the internet all the time. Anyone can dl it at L4D2dlXcom (replace X with . ) . You are going to adore it!

I got this exact laptop, they gave it to me when i turned in my G50vt, which had its HDD fucked up, because of overheat. I recommend to not leave this laptop turned on for over 5-7 hours because the results could be similar to its previous version (G50vt).

BTW we definitively ARE killing our competition :D Oh, and i use this with a Razer Lachesis 4000dpi, works like a charm.

easy way to overclock and unvervolt is setfsb and cpuid..i have mine clocked at 2.6ghz and undvervolted to 1.113v..i love this laptop i also did a mod to bottom where fan is so now more air flow..voids warranty but i have no reason to take this laptop back :D..gpu at 600/1000/1500 as well which seem to be the max stable settings to overclock using ntools...this also good for ps2 and dc gaming ;)
