One of the smoothest base lines to EVER grace a record- the genious of Roy and the lovely singing of Sylvia, what more can I say. I have this exact record on 12', was sitting in my version of the "vinyl room". My 5 year old daughter made me play this record about 5 times in a row, she loves it.

Good times. And glad I can pass this on to her.

I can't really see this as "the rarest of rare groove" as someone says below, as it was a pretty big spin at certain clubs at the time (1980), and even got a UK release on Bluebird. Great record though, nonetheless.

@slaneydore You must be a Brit at least I think. I lived in England for three years and to this day I still say "Mate" and "bloak." Lol!! I know you will love Erykah's verision. It almost sounds identical except for the lyrics. Biggie Smalls also sampled this song (Big Money) but it is terribly raunchy! The lyrics are awful!! So much profanity!
