@flsportsfan65 thanks for reminding me, i was just telling my mom the other day i was trying to bring back the word groovey, i already brought back the word spiffy.
Just looked up the Cowboy Trail. It looks like it would be fun to take it across the old railway bridge near Valentine. That Ponca State Park is magnificent.
Hey Dave, have I missed your bike check vid or is it hidden somewhere? Still waiting for an extensive tour of your rig, gear and methods. I'm sure many viewers would appreciate this from a perspective only your amazing experience could bring. keep turnin' those pedals!
@cyclist01222 I'm procrastinating... I've been meaning to... honest... but I get so busy editing all these videos. Thanks for reminding me... I better hurry up because I'm getting close to home...lol
Hi Dave....i was looking at my map and noticed that further west on highway 20, there is a place called Cottonwood Lake St. Recreation Area. Then from Gordon all the way to Fort Robinson State Park, that part of hwy 20 is designated as a scenic route...It should look beautiful. Looking forward to your video coverage of that area!
@musicspecialist1 hi MS1, You are the first person to look at my present position and attempt to anticipate my route. I will be staying at Ft Robison. I am looking forward to WY. thank you very much for following
Really interesting seeing rural America, I've never been to the U.S. but this makes me want to cycle there. I've only just sumbled across your channel, so I have some catching up to do with your previous videos.
@smith34n hello smith34n, and welcome... I'm afraid the videos from the first couple of months are not as well made as they are now. I'm learning as I go. Thank you very much for following along
Very cool, Dave! I have lot of family in Nebraska. That hemp weed the farmers call it Loco weed, because, if there cattle eats any of it, they go LOCO..lol..What a adventure! How is the body holding up with all them miles? I take it the Brooks Saddle is treating you good? Have you had any problems messing with you on your journey? How do people react to you on your Cycling Journey? Anyways, stay safe and sane! Your doing a great job! :)
@Douger4u777 no problems at all with the saddle... I remember my very first bicycle tour... I was so saddle sore I could not sit down. One of the best parts of this trip is when people ask me about what I'm doing... I tell them and watch their jaws drop. Nobody has messed with me. I don't expect anybody will
@ThreeWheelJourney Have to say, your bike has done pretty damn good for that many miles! You have been very blessed with great health to even do what your doing..Are you going threw Utah? One of the guys at the bike store told me they have some tough cross winds there. I'm sure you been threw some pretty tough conditions.
When I once came to America I picked up a magazine with that road sign listed under "if cyclist could designed road signs" never actually seen it tho. Do u follow the tour de france on ur travels
@BARRGE50 I caught the opening day trials, and I've been catching up when I get to a hotel or some extra time in the library. I saw the car bump the cyclist on the news today, and on ESPN
Ha first off the bocks i've just posted a video on mapping and flooding you seem very up beat today and your voice has an energy back in it (all good nothing bad) be safe Michael S
