False. Loom up 'the terror", which occured in 18th century France. Atheism was one of the primary motivating factors for the terorism and murder done by Atheists at the time. It even came down to Atheists and Deists fighting each other, both wanted to see the church lsoe it's excessive powerhod and the monarchy fall, but the deists were less violent and more "freedom of and from religion" in mindset generally.

But seeing how the church was very much on the side of power and wealth and it was the thing at the time to question everything i suppose it can be said that Athiests were killing for it.

there's probably no god...now stop worrying and enjoy your life. no, seriously, tolerance is good. but it stops when you are supposed to be tolerant towards intolerance. no matter what you believe, most religions are itself or being used for intolerance. e.g.christianity especially in the us. muslims are no devils, maybe misguided by religion more or less iust like people are everywhere, but its no reason to judge them. so why not live by ethical rules? why do you need god?

Yes, every war is about power. But religion is the most common tool. Without religious fanatics, it wouldn't be as easy as it is now to start a war. It's almost impossible to use "power" as a reason, therefore so many assholes in "power position" may thank their gods for all the religious suckers.
