it's not weird, classic l'arc en ciel is the best. sound-wise, it's raw yes, but rocks compared to their recent outputs. though i have to concede that hyde sounds better now that he's old. which is weird. considering his lifestyle, his voice should sound bad/hoarse/broken as he get older. but no, his voice has gotten powerful and sexier. i wish they would record again their old songs (from dune and tierra albums).

I like both the Sakura and Yuki sides of L'Arc~en~Ciel, but you have to agree that Hyde's voice is better now than then. Much more powerful.

Personally the music they did have a much stronger feeling than what they do today... I gave up somewhere around Smile, after noticing a heavy decline with songs I actually enjoyed. Dune is probably the only album I do like throughly.

Hyde's voice was so much different back then. I liked his voice a lot.

I think they're like chameleons. they can adapt to whatever is thrown at them, and they themselves make mainstream music.

hey, was i the only one to catch the Sakuhai (SakuraxHyde) at the end? when they're all leaving the stage, Sakura get's down from his drums and crosses in front, he throws probably his stick(s) into the crowd then puts his arm around Hyde's waist and pulls him along. was i the only one to catch the arm around the waist??

wow, HYDE actaully touched his fans...that is pretty amazing, since I have NEVER really seen him do that. He usually just teases and leans over, and ocassionally permits them to strain in touching his leg or something. That is why I am so surprised O.O I wish I was there

Hyde has made contact with fans, as long as its a venue and theyre super close -- like stage diving during REAL and climbing up the barricade where the audience was standing behind during the Rock Odyssey.

Its also a safety issue for him to not get TOO close sometimes, since from what I've seen, the audience has a tendancy to DRAG HIM IN.
