@turbodieselracer u can get most new taurus weapons for beyween 3 and 4 online....used taurus and smith revolvers can ne found for under 3 I picked up a an older taurus 65 in .357 for $289 its a tack driver and now with a set of pachmayrs its my e.d.c gun just watch out taurus.customer service blows hahaha

Yeah, at 10 years old, this was my first handgun, the recoil isnt that bad , so its's pretty good.

You could actually use something bigger, if you wanted.

Maybe a .40 or a .45.

When I was 12, I got my first .45 ACP, and it's been my favorite handgun ever since.

I'm glad to see a shooter using the double action method. That's why they are made double action. I teach NRA pistol classes and was a law enforcement instructor for many years. I'm looking at buying a few .38 specials for my classes. Are you happy with the Taurus revolver?

@multicam2000 You're welcome, man:). Just curious: have you shot heavier bullets in this Taurus? I'm soliciting opinions about the famous and much-recommended 158-grain +P .38 Special load. Some have said it was both controllable and accurate; others have called it a mini-.357 with concurrently excessive recoil, not to mention accuracy. Feel free to weigh in regarding it:)!
