@ToastyPwnage No I have played GTA4 on ps3, and honestly I like ps2 GTA 3, vice city, and vice city stories better than this GTA 4. Yea it is on a next gen system but I prefer the other one's. I am not that far into LCS but still, from what i have played of GTA IV, there is something missing in terms of gameplay that the older one's had.

@ToastyPwnage Yea they got lazy making GTA 4 for ps3. GTA3 I think was by far the best gta game, Even Vice City which was still a very good game, was a big step back IMHO from GTA3. Vice City I think is still the 2nd best gta game but it was too open-ended compared with gta3 and I never liked owning properties that much. In Vice City, from what i can remember, you had to buy up stuff and manage your properties/investments just to advance in the story career mode. Just play damn missions, God.

Yeah it is kind of more Mafia theme, but the city is much brighter and more colorful. And there are much more vehicles like bikes and new cars and you have aparments where you can save and switch your clothes. It's a matter of taste which music is better, I like both, GTA LCS and GTA III.

The story takes place in 1998, that means 3 years before GTA III's story. Ur game character is Toni Cipriani, which you know from GTA III as the Capo of Salvatore Leone. But in LCS he just arrives in Liberty City again after a while and now he has to work one's way up.

There are diffrences between Liberty City in GTA III and GTA LCS. For example the Porter Tunnel is not built yet. There is a ferry port, where in GTA III the tunnel etrance in Portland is.
