    Robot Out

  • @lekski you know what i did when i was that age? I went out and bought a break beat record. We didn't have youtube.

  • quikest chirps ever.

  • @genetik69 YEA...none greater than Rev at the chirps

  • Only watched half the vid coz I got bored, but yea he's pretty mean, cxl is pretty good too, I like manchoo the best, he's more of a mixtape king but I dub his mixshow every Friday and saturday, shits mean!!

  • @djviegulle King of the decks u say.... ummm NO, meam ass scratcher YES!

  • top this if you can :D ...DJ Revolution Man Or Machine?! =)

  • This person is good at what he does

  • BEAST! and I only saw half the vid cause it was buffering!!!

  • @B6Quattro be supportive?? dude i've been taught by dmc fools and i pass that knowlege down, i know what being supportive is. I also know what being dumb is.. if your interested in the art at least dig into it just a bit and you'd find that every scratch record that ever existed has an "ahhhh" sample. Oh my god how did Q bert ever find a ahhhhh sample back in the day without youtube?? life is so hard :((

  • I wonder how many crossfaders Revolution goes through in a year.

  • wow so by fuckup i played this vid and dj raid scratch terminator at the same time and wound up with a sick ass remix ;) i creamed myself..

  • i rly dont know how DJ`s do this and proly il never know but rly great

  • wow

  • old skool 4ever.....p e a c e....man my man can cut-it-up......Baaaaad...shit you crazy

  • @dankelee yeah I think it's about money. Somebody told me he went back to serato. Torq is just as good as serato I use torq and luv it. Peace!

  • MI RESPETO!!!! BLESS DJ.REVOLUTION!!!

  • make it RANE.

  • Wow so many haters.

I'm a 15 year + scratch vet he was sick then and is now.

Good Tablism doesn't always come down to complex technique.

It takes the style heart and soul which much of the new dub plate generation of tablists lack.

  • can he do that with his chin? i can :)

  • *headache rings of cuts after hearing from all of that repetitive same sentence*, other than that, that is some mad reflexes :"))

  • This was before he starting using torq

  • @129crip how come he uses torq? Surely thats got to be money related?

  • The original vinyl is "Change the Beat" by Fab 5 Freddy/Beeside. It's at the end of the song. Copy and paste the following title to your YouTube search bar

Fab 5 Freddy (Beside) - Change The Beat (Original 12" French Version)

  • The original vinyl is "Change the Beat" by Fab 5 Freddy. "Ahhhh the stuff is realy fresh" is the outro of the song.

  • Did he throw Torq to the rubish bin yet? LOL

  • only suckers dont like this,go rev.,the backbone get put to work, rev. stretchin it out

  • Get a rizla banged in your fader pal

  • Shadow is the only King of the Decks. there can be only one king and this guy aint him. his technique is not that complicated if you have any idea how to scratch you'd know that.

  • @alexnick86

If you knew anything about this guy, you would shut the hell up.

    That was his album name.

  • @DJKrytykal

You really detect sarcasm wherever it is, don´t you? ;-)

  • The button broke in the middle of 1:14 but he improvised it so clean, you think he did it on purpose

  • i love where he the fader knob classic

  • not the ahh sound dumbfuck. the "cutt professer" sample

  • josh0094 - That other sample is from Doug E. Fresh "Leave It Up to the Cut Professor."

  • thanks man!!!

  • those birds are CHIRPIN'!!!!! god DAMN!

  • Serato is tiiiight!!!!!!

But my skills sucks my ass.

  • "ahhhhh" sample is really really rare.

Almost as rare as the secret "FRESHHHH" sample.

    Impossible to find

  • @arminbemin NEITHER OF THOSE THINGS ARE RARE

THEY'RE ON EVERY BATTLE RECORD OUT THERE

    JESUS

  • omg some of you are so fucking dumb. where did he get the "ahhhhhhh" sample.. are you fucking serious?

  • im talking about the cut professer sample stupid..

  • @djbilingual hahahahaha true

    arminbemin's a fuckin idiot

  • @djbilingual chill dude. some people are just getting started in this day and age. and just dont know that stuff. they'll learn in time. be supportive.

  • @djbilingual Really you're going to be so neggy towards those who don't know but are interested? A wonderful way to continue the growth of a dying culture.

FYI those that are curious you can find the sample on almost any Battle Break record relesed in the past 20 years.

For all the geeks it comes from Fab 5 Freddies Change the Beat from the Rap Graffiti LP.

  • Comment removed

  • @lekski im sorry but i dont want anyone who asking where to find the "ahhhhh" sample to be continuing the growth of this culture hahaha. Don't judge so fast buddy, I teach newbies and friends this culture for free one on one, on the TABLES. What you do besides talk shit on youtube? get out of here with that supporting the growth of the culture you aint gettin no pat on the back. Thanks for helping the dude find his ahhhh sample tho. haha you right about that

  • I have promoted hip-hop culture and played out in venues all over the south of the uk heavily from 1997-2005.

I still play out now and again these days.

I can understand your sentiments from an anti culture vulture pov, though still don't see any need to alienate others.

But that could be some 11 year old kid with a genuine interest.

  • anybody know the scratch record?

  • dude hes using serato. any sound, the record is blank.

  • i knew that, ( i have traktor scratch) but i have a feeling he ripped the " cut professer" sample off of a scratch reccord. and i was trying to figure out were to get that sample

  • Serato Timecode

  • shut up, racist bitch. I'm white, and you don't hear me badmouthing the lead singer of Killswitch Engage because he's black and wants to "get in on the rock culture"...moron. DJ Rev is bringing back what a real DJ should be.

  • wow this is sad.. don't matter if hes white or black this is real shit.. and if you knew anything about the decks. youd understand... this is sick..

  • Now your sounding like Micheal Jackson.

  • Your a fucking idiot!!! DJ REV is the shit im a dj and everyone has there own style if u dnt like his suck a toe!!

  • I would love to see a scratch battle between him and Qbert.

The world would explode if it happened.

  • you gotta be joking man ... you don't understand nothing about scratchin dude ...

rev is not 20% of qbert

  • so fly!!

  • awesome !

  • I still buy records, I DON,t use any digital shits..and it's fucking great like this

  • who gives a fruck about life..?? and by the way sto biting nick names...

  • what are you guys talking about torq and traktor??? he's is using the best tool: serato with the TTM, no questions about

  • true dat!!!!!!!!!!

  • Torq is as equally good (even better in some areas) as Serato, yet it costs about half the prize (hardware included). And it's less than 10MB in size... Go to torq-dj com for more info (or simply search youtube).

  • ah yeahhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • vinil is simply the soul of this

  • I went back to vinyl and I am not ashamed. Folks are just gettin too lazy today lookin' for the easy way out in everything we do.

    Keep Cutin' Ya.

  • yo traktor scratch all the way!

  • Yo, go to Revolutions myspace and he's got Rane logos on it... Big companies pay big name celebs to promote their products... Just cause you promote one thing doesn't mean you use it... damn near every professional dj is on Serato. I'm still yet to see someone that uses something else... I saw that torq video but he doesn't even use that shit...

  • if you you know anything about hip hop, listen to the wake up show. rev is on the torq system handling on that show & any dj who comes through uses it too.

  • serato run tings Rane ttm57 is tough to beat

  • Its funny what over a year on from the post date of this video has in store.

DJ Revolution is the front man for Torq and says theres nothing better.

Google Torq, click videos, DJ Revolution pimping torq!

Now please please, I dont want to start a war about which is better. Im just happy that vinyl is going strenght to strenght since it started!

  • Serato is tested and proven.

Great support, they will get things fixed ASAP!

  • Who gives a rat's ass which one is better. As long as they are keeping the turntable DJ game alive is the most important thing. For some reason when I see a DJ using a cd turntable or god forbid the ipod DJ I wanna throw a brick at them. So god bless Torq, Serato, Final Scratch, Traktor, or whatever...who gives a fuck. Just keep the game alive.

  • Serato is overpriced piece of shit.

Torq does way moe for way less and thats bull shit about sticker drift.

Don't knock it till you try it.

Rane is shitting in there pants because more and more people are dropping there asses for charging way to much for all there shit.

  • its worth it man serato is solid as hell and dont say it isnt

  • Why wood revolution wanna use this when his vinyl collection in the background is amazing!

  • cause its heavy, takes time to find records, and literally these people have been sick of carrying record boxes and looking for vinyl in their crates, they still enjoy digging and playing record, but serato made their life a bit easier

  • I dont get it! ...Why all this fuss over what is better; Torq or ScratchLive! ...They r both as good as one another, they do the same thing, they are both tried and tested, they r both reliable!

    Torq = £200

    Serato = £400

They r both amazing, and very close in terms of features, but for half the price, i know which I'm buying!

  • Torq is cheaper, but it's more CPU intensive, thus - less stable. On top of that, Serato has tip-top support, that's what makes it the most stable in the DVS market. Now that it has effects and MIDI, you're not gaining much by switching to a less stable DVS like Torq.

Besides, Torq suffers from massive sticker drift in relative mode, that's a pretty big grievance when scratching. And trust me, Serato will pay for itself in the long run.

  • LOL, you sir, are a idiot.

  • i dont think the ppl for torq are going to be to happy seeing rev using serato..lol

  • nice leedion buger. scratch.

  • mush better.

  • knock it off at the core they all do the same shit....with any modern pc/laptop you shouldnt have a problem. Virtualdj has video. and finalscratch code vinyls seems a better more solid...and beside all the fluff they do the exact same thing. the only reason torq has a strong following is because its like 230 online. which compared to the rest of them is pennies.

  • shit!!! that happens when practising 100000 hours

  • Serato was charging so much because they where the first to have this sofware now that Numark ,Traktor, and Torq are out they are going to be forced to drop there prices.

PS: Torq is not for amateurs there are many pro's who prefer it because it runs more stable on Apple computers then Serato.

  • Pros prefer Torq because it does so much more than the rest of the products out there. Serato, Traktor, VirtualVinyl, etc. are only good for scratching... if you want to be more creative with FX and loops and samples, only Torq offers that.

  • Sorry but pros don't prefer Torq. Every club installation with a digital djing solution has Serato. Also, Serato has looping and effects and once the video is released it will be the most rock solid all around product available

  • yo is this dj revolution from battleaxe records... cause i have a couple of his battle brake LP's and they're dope.

  • torq is a amateur product with less than zero support and a fukked up upgrade policy....dont rely on this product

  • so everybody that uses serato scratch is a professional? and anyone who uses torq is a amateur?

care to explain why torq is a amateur product?

  • This is old footage he no longer uses Serato.

Serato is a thing of the past.

    Torq kicks ass!

you can use it with midi keyboards and controllers..

More and more clubs are getting Torq systems.

  • You are making me laugh. Serato will support Midi, and it's not something marketed at kiddies, to bad they have to pay rev to use it, and he probably still uses serato lol

  • Naw... I know Rev personally and he said he ain't gettin a dime from M-Audio. He just believes in Torq and said it's the best product out there, hands down.

  • yeah well i know santa and he said you aint gettin shit.

post up son. you know "rev" you should be comin real hard on the cut.

  • HA, serato is king, save Torq for the bedroom dj's.

  • Serato must cut down their price or Torq will take over the digital solution (USB) for DJs

Now Native Instruments will be the standard for DJ Digital Solution (Firewire)?

  • Do you also think that Technics needs to cut down their price to stay competetive?

Better products cost more, that's all there is to it.

  • ...better products cost more ey??? ahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!! you have me in stitches you willy wonka! If u believe that then I will make one specially for u an market it at £1000000000... then u can buy it cause it will be the "best" and then i'm an instant millionaire! sweet... I'll get started on it right away!!!!!

  • You're an idiot.

  • dj rectangle kicks ur ass

  • get the fuck out of here...rectangle is dope..but revolution would crush him

  • fuckin sick chirps

  • Go white boy Go white Boy....lol

  • Who's beat is he scratching on?

  • Lil Wayne - Go Dj

  • thanks.. I actually found it out myself when i was looking at this clip again and saw it on his laptop.. (after looking at this clip for 6 months...) Now I know why I don't know this beat. Commercial stuff. With scratching it does sound dope though.

  • ***anybody knows why REVO make presentation with Torq? becouse Serato is 4 hiphopDJs/turntablist more friendly system*** ...revo = trueschool dj 4eva !

  • sick

  • Damn, that Rane fader knob is silent. I like that.

Rev is stepping up his cuts more and more. Sick chirps/chirp patterns per usual. Needs to breathe and relax more.

He's definitely one of my favorite dj's. Keep on Revolution!!!

  • Ha ha! His fader knob came off in his hand! That shit's so annoying.

  • Rev it up dupe!GO DJ

  • man he is so fucking sick!!!!

  • he makes a better beat than that too lol

  • class man :O !

  • These patterns are technical, but I've seen him do better. Rev is the best at more repetitive scratching. But shit, some of these cuts are insane..

  • dj revolution is so so nice, gratz dude

  • isnt dude with Torq now?

  • ur chirps are sick... i wish the camera guy captured ur faderhand more!

  • ...
