There is a web site called navybuddies where you can connect with other shipmates from the Sac. Joe Almendarez is organizing a reunion for October of this year. July 15 is the deadline for reserving your spot in the hotel at special rates.

4:45 on the main reduction gears wiping down oil, LOL a never ending task! I ran in main control for my first hitch '75 - '77. MM3 Randolph, now retired but the Sac was my first baby and where I got the infamous "grease job" on my first cruise. Ah, those were the days!
