Man Scott was roided up in the 80's. The first time i saw him in the WWF he was this tall lanky wrestler. And his ring style was different from the other tall guys because he wasn't buff like Hogan or Sid. It took me a while to get used to his ring work. You know Scott was a different type of wrestler, he didn't fit any of the classic molds. Probally why he never won the world title. Wrestling didn't know how to use Scott Hall.
@1981CrueHead Scott may have slimmed down a bit, even in W.C.W late 90s when he was the slimest he ever was in his career he was by no means "Lanky" I have seen him in person to many times!!!! Scott is a BIG guy, he has a huge frame!!!!
@1981CrueHead Right.i see what you mean..Thats just cause he's tall as f***..Watch Scott hall's early matches from NWA and early WCW as The Diamond Studd..He was massive then!!
@1981CrueHead If you saw him @ all last year (2010) he was big again, but not muscular big just huge lol..Now he is slimming back down..I talk to Debbie Hart OFTEN...She is a good friend of Scotts and he is really having a tuff time right now...Did you here what Big Kev said about him???YOU need to hear this shit bro, ill send you the link!!!
@Thebadguy1987 I read about Scott Hall sometimes. he seemed like he was always close to the big one but something always seemed to happen. He's probably the greatest big man to never win a world title.
@1981CrueHead Indeed he is! He was a great performer and has the respect of some of the greatest, but like the big man said "Scott Hall was broken long before he broke into the wrestling buisness"
@Thebadguy1987 And I don't know exactly what it was with Hall, perhaps he was too close to Kevin Nash. Maybe WCW and the WWF always saw Hall as second to Nash. I really don't know. But for all the time he was in the nWo he should have held the strap. Clearly anyone can tell Hall was the heart and soul of the nWo. And realistic Nash and Hall could have done the outsiders thing themselves and ran rough shot over old man Hogan and the WCW.
@1981CrueHead Damn right! well said brother. People dont se it that way.. I think Hall and/or Hennig should of held the strap, if only a short while..Ya know Hennig as well as Hall paid his due's and was one HELL of a classic wrestler.Hogan needed a couple guys to actually do the wrestling for the nWo, those 2 were the ones..lol..R.I.P Curt...
@Thebadguy1987 Well hall and Nash carried Hogan back to the top. Hogan could have never made the heel turn without a couple of imposing monsters that we're Nash and Hall. If Hogan would have done the Hollywood thing along he would have looked like jimmy Valiant did when he was in the crockett promotion.
@1981CrueHead lol, Indeed...You know what, it shocked that Jimmy Hart didnt become apart of the faction, seeing that he managed Hogan previous to the heel turn.I also think they should have kept it basic with Hall, Nash, Hogan and maybe a couple others but not as much talent as they had at once ya know? There were too many members at one time, and the storylines went stale as hell...Thanx for your input on the matter...Your awesome!!!!
@Thebadguy1987 True, there we're too many guys in the nWo. There is only so much room at the top and the rest of the group looked like jobbers. if it we're me I would have kept it with the 3 charter members and then someone with a real sellout mentality like Lex Luger. lex Luger has no soul and merely mutates to survive in his environment. And I would have had Giant. Giant would have been lost in WCW if he wasn't in the nWo.
One of the better tributes to the Lone Wolf. The Song fits I think. A good change of pace from the usual. Incidentally I thinkScott Hall & Gentleman Chris Adams would have made a fantastic tag-team.
Interesting music. But loved the video shots of Scott. He's one of a kind special guy.
