Harry Potter has more depth to it, while Twilight is quite shallow and only scratches the surface. And I say this as a fan of both series. Harry Potter has more developed plot lines, and many subplots. Twilight is mostly about how hot Edward is. You can like both, or either one, but there's no denying that Harry Potter is better in the plot and development department.
